Lisia had been quiet up until this point. She stood and swept her curly blond hair back. “That’s all right, Carl. I need to do some work in the communications room anyway. I can take care of it for you.” Carl raised an eyebrow, surprised at the unsolicited offer. Lisia wasn’t known for being particularly helpful, especially not lately. Cruncher seemed somewhat caught off guard, too, but shrugged. “Makes no difference to me,” Cruncher replied and took another bite of his food.
