Savannah was indeed surprised when Mario led her up to the front door of The Southern Lady. It was a very touristy spot, right on River Street, and was always crowded with not just couples but families. It wasn’t the kind of place she’d have picked, but Mario didn’t seem to be much of a foodie; he probably didn’t realize where it was he was taking her. She wouldn’t have been surprised if he’d googled restaurants in the city and just picked this one because it was highly recommended.
