LUCIUS’ POV:
Five days!
It's been five hectic days of having to pretend that everything was alright and that I belonged here.
I was watched wherever I went, whatever I did was seen by everybody. I was escorted by guards everywhere and for once, I saw the truth to Cedric's words.
The kingdom had really been taken over.
The first night I spent here had to be the most terrible one and even though Ariadne was a she-devil, she let me be and I don't think it was out of respect that I had chosen to free my mate, or out of pity that I had just seperated from my mate, causing me extreme pain.
It was out of the notion that she was marinating me for later.
The second day after she had me stay upstairs, she barged into the room I had shared with Cassia and went into her closet.
