CASSIA’S POV:
Gradually, Lucius nursed back to health from whatever the hell he got tormented with.
Normally, I would have tried to make him feel comfortable, that is something anybody with a compassionate heart would have done but to be honest, I'd rather walk pigs.
He tried though, to get to talk to me on numerous occasions but I was so done with all of that. Multiple occasions, I have either woken up earlier than usual or later than usual.
I'd have breakfast first with the Alpha king or I'd have breakfast alone, whichever suited me best. He tried on the first day after he recovered to call me for breakfast, but I had ignored him and simply asked a maid to bring my food to the bedroom.
There was no way I was going to follow anybody anywhere, especially him.
