I can hear Eli family member greeting each other like they have never seen each other before. Eli makes sure he's hand is intertwined with mine, giving me a squeeze for comfort. I feel more confident having Eli here next to me as we walk into the living room. Eli begins clapping his cousin up and kissing his aunties as his hand is now detached from mine. I wish I had someone to greet how everyone is greeting each other. I leave Eli looking for Momma E. I walk inside the kitchen where Momma E is still cooking up some food.
