I was beyond mortified. Caleb was staring at me like I just killed a puppy or something, and Kade was smirking like he just won the lottery. I wanted to take off and disappear from the two of them, but I was rooted to the ground, staring at my ex-mate and fake boyfriend, unsure of what to do or say.
