      Hannah     I was dead. I knew it. It was the only explanation as to why I was floating. Floating away from all the pain and worry that had been my life for the last few months. I couldn’t even be sad, I felt totally and utterly weightless. Free finally. Except I would never get to meet my baby. If was dead, did that mean he or she was dead as well? Panic gripped my chest and I couldn’t breathe. Breathing wasn’t something a dead person did though was it? Surely if I was some kind of spirit, I wouldn’t have to do something as mundane as breathing. “Welcome back” The gruff voice broke through the fog, and my eyes fluttered against my cheeks.
