What is the role of a friend in these cases? They say we should support them, but in his case, I think it would be better to let him drown under the water tap.
"What are you saying? That doesn't make sense," I said.
"Of course it does. That explains why the little girl is tall."
"Think whatever you want, but deep down, you know that's impossible."
"And why are you so sure? You didn't even know her well. Are you sure you don't like her?" he asked. This i***t, how could he think that I was going to fall for his ex-wife?
"Enough with that..." I was getting tired. "No, I don't like her; I just respect her. And just because you've seen them together doesn't mean the man is the girl's father." I answered.
"The little one said it very confidently; she mentioned her parents."
