"Mommy! Mommy!"
Moving her hands on my shoulders, I woke to find my daughter's smile.
"What's wrong, sweetheart?"
"Today, we're going to the aquarium; you said so."
I looked at my alarm clock and saw that it was 4:00 am.
"Honey, it's still very early."
"Well, that's better, so we won't have to wait in line."
"Verita, they haven't even opened yet. We will arrive and wait for hours in the cold and hungry."
"Oh, I didn't think of that."
"I'll let you know when it's time; plus, I can see in your sleepy face that you're still tired."
"A little bit," she responded while yawning.
