I followed brother Archer who walked towards one of the big tents on the set.
I got to observe my surroundings as we walked up to the tent.
We pass by staffs who are setting up something; probably for the next scene as such. Some of them are looking at me curiously while the others just continued on what they're doing.
I just realized that we were in an abandoned building. My brain was so focused on the food that brother Archer said that I couldn't pay attention to my surroundings.
There are filming cameras, and other filming materials being set up in the middle of the abandoned building. It's like a battle field was currently occurring in there. This is my first time seeing such things, and it's quite amazing to look at. I can't help but marvel at what I'm seeing.
"Ally!"
I was surprised when brother Archer suddenly called me and turned in his direction. Let's see if he has reached the tent. I didn't realize that I had stopped while observing so I quickly walked towards him.
"Hehehe brother..." I scratched the back of my head.
He just shook his head with a light smile then gestured for me to go in.
I saw brother Aspen talking to a middle aged woman when I entered. They turned in my direction when they noticed me.
Brother Aspen smiled widely at me and looked at brother Archer who was behind me.
Big brother Aspen suddenly pushed me. "Aly, meet Tita Elise the director of this film," he said while introducing himself to the middle aged woman he was talking to.
I was shocked by what I heard and did not immediately react. Wait... director? This middle-aged woman in front of me is a director? Oh?
The director stared at me intently as if examining my entire personality and soul.
I felt uncomfortable to such a gaze so my smile was a bit awkward.
"Hello," I greeted though stiffly.
It's not that I'm an introvert, but I just don't understand why my older brothers are introducing me to the director. I mean is there a need for me to know the director? Or the director to know me? Well, I'm just eating here.
But wait... Heard if brother Pen called the director 'Tita' Elise? Aunt? Huh? We have an aunt who is the director? Eh?
As far as I know, I have an actor brother, but I didn't know that we have an aunt who is a director.
"Aunt Elise this is Aly," I heard brother Aspen introduce himself to me.
After brother Aspen said that the director suddenly smiled at me lovingly.
"So this is Allison, such a gorgeous girl. The last time I saw her she's still like a baby doll." She said with a pleasant surprise in her voice.
But the next words she uttered made my mind blank for some time.
"Allison, are you interested in becoming an actress?"
???
Huh?
Just wait...
Just wait...
It seems like the speed of these events.
I can't catch up.
The only thing in my mind that made me come here was to eat, not to become an actress. Sheesh!
"No."
All of a sudden, brother Archer unexpectedly sounded his objection.
The three of us turned to him.
He has a stern look as he looked at Tita Elise.
"Aunt, you know how dangerous the Entertainment Industry is; I don't want to expose my little sister to those things." He said solemnly.
Brother Aspen's expression suddenly became serious. "What my brother said is right, Aunt. We just want Aly to live a normal and peaceful life; free from worries in this toxic society."
I raised an eyebrow. It's rare that these two get along.
Aunt Elise suddenly lifted up the sides of her lip; as if seeing something funny.
"Who would've thought that the well known cold and reticent Archer Quinn in front of the camera would have such a caring side to a girl behind the scenes? I wonder how will your fans would react if they happen to know about this side of yours?" Aunt Elise asked teasingly.
"Aly isn't just any tom, d**k, and harry; she's my beloved younger sister." Kuya Archer answered seriously.
"Yes, our little sister is one in a million." Kuya Aspen also agreed seriously.
I choked on air.
What's wrong with these two simpletons?
Was I really that great in there eyes?
But...
I got to admit...
They actually looked cute with their serious expressions especially they looked identical.
I suddenly had the urge to take a picture of 'em.
"HAHAHAHAHA."
Aunt Elise's loud laughter was heard.
"These two siscons. Well, I was just testing my luck; you two don't have to be so tense. Hahaha."
It was as if a thorn had been pulled out of the two and they both sighed.
"Good," they said at the same time.
"HAHAHAHAHA." Aunt Elise.
"..." Me.
"But, it's still up to your sister if she wants to. What do you think Allison?" Aunt Elise asked suddenly, turning in my direction.
I thought about it.
Honestly, I don't have plans to as of now.
Aside from I want to fully focus, and give my full attention to the path I want to pursue. I don't know how to act. Song. Maybe instead of fans, I'll get bashers. Amp.
I looked at Tita Elise, and smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry Aunt Elise, but I decline." I said seriously.
I want to be firm with my goals, and acting isn't one of them... Yet...
Aunt Elise smiled understandingly. "Very well."
After a moment of silence, brother Aspen cleared his throat to get our attention.
"We took Aly here to let the two of you get to know each other as per your request Aunt." He said to Aunt Elise.
"Mr. Aly, Aunt Elise is one of our mother's best friends." Archer's brother turned towards me with a small smile on his lips.
"Yes. Yes. Come here, let me stare at your perfect face." Aunt Elise said with a big grin on her still flawless face, and winked at me.
"..."
Uh...
This Aunt Elise is kinda weird...
