When Sam left, Owen threw himself fully into all the activities at camp to distract himself. The days were scheduled into blocks; on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, they had Fire Balancing block in the mornings; campers from other cabins joined them in the Fire Arena so they could all practice together. In the afternoons, the Fire Cabin split up for Secondary Balancing with the Water and Air Cabins. Owen liked the Water block because he got to spend time with Cam, and it was easier to ignore Logan when he had a friend. Owen discovered that he didn’t like canoeing very much, mostly because Logan always won when they’d race across the lake.
