Diana seized the opportunity to brag about the Fire Tournaments she’d won, and Owen couldn’t believe how complicated they were. He was also very excited to get back to camp and compete in one himself. He was sure he’d lose, but it seemed like a lot of fun. This discussion led into a training session with Diana. She insisted that Owen keep working on his Fire summoning, running him through a few simple drills while the others watched. He was glad of it; the more he practiced, the more instinctual it became to tap into his emotions and create fire.
