"The agreements have been made, I met the lady and she is called Pamela Toole." "Before I forget, do you remember the beautiful charming lady I told you about some time ago that I saw at a mall? I don't know why I can't stop thinking about her. Ever since I saw her, she keeps on appearing in my dreams. I don't know why. And ever since then I've never set my eyes on her and I have been looking for her everywhere but she's nowhere to be found. How I wish she was the one I was going to marry," He said. "Don't worry we will find her. Unfortunately, you will be a married man by then," James jokingly responded. "Let's go home then," Cedric said. He sat in his car and they drove away. It was the day for the grand ball and it was hosted in one of the biggest mansions of Mr. Williams Forson. The place was decorated very nicely with expensive things. There were waiters and waitresses serving wine, champagne and so many continental dishes. And there were musical bands and musicians singing beautiful tunes. Everything in the room looked very expensive and classic. All the rich and influential friends of Mr. Williams started coming in, in well expensive suits and shoes with their beautiful daughters in classy dresses alongside them in their luxury cars. Sooner, they started sharing pleasantries and having some chats with themselves. And the Forson family also came in. They were Mr. Williams Forson the father, Cedric Forson, the first son, George Forson, the second son, Mariam Forson, the female and the last child, and other relatives to share pleasantries and to welcome those who had honoured the invitation as the program was about to start. So, while the pleasantries were still going on my dad and I came in with classy dressing. I got everybody's attention both men and women, because I was looking extremely beautiful in the dress. Cedric saw me and was surprised. He turned to his personal assistant and started holding a conversation with him. "James, that is the girl that I was talking about, the girl that I met at the mall. I can't believe my eyes, she's the one," Cedric said. "Really! Are you sure?" James asked. "Yes, I'm very sure she's the one," Cedric replied. "Wow! If she's truly the one then she's really beautiful, no wonder you have her in your dreams," James said with a smile and looked towards my direction. "I told you James," Cedric said with a smile on his face. "Yes, you were right. And I guess this is a perfect match," James replied. "Why do you say that?" Cedric asked. "She is Pamela. The daughter of Mr. Patrick Toole and the woman your family has chosen for you." "Interesting, this world is full of mysteries. So, what do I do now? I can't wait any longer. Let me go talk to her,'' Cedric said with excitement. "No! Don't go yet, wait till your father calls you out. You know that after he announces to everybody that he's going to give the inheritance to you the next thing is for you to marry first before he finally hands over everything to you. So, after he calls you to be his next of kin, all the ladies here will come and share pleasantries with you, introduce themselves to you and have a little chat with them. Eventually you will choose one from them and that means you're going to marry the one you will choose which you already know." Upon hearing that, this made Cedric extremely happy and just couldn't wait to choose Pamela, as his wife of which he's already admiring. All his thoughts were on how to express his feelings and have me, all to himself. When Mr. Patrick came, he saw his best friend and they were both happy, cracking jokes and having funny conversations about when they were young and the fun things they did together. "This is your in-law Pamela," dad said as he introduced me to Mr. Williams. "Hello Pamela," said Mr. Williams. "You have really grown into a beautiful and matured woman. The last time I saw you, you were just six years old." "That's interesting to know. Thank you for the compliment," I responded with a smile. Soon, the waiting time finally came for Mr. Williams Forson, to announce to the public and the whole family the main reason why this ceremony is actually taking place, which is, "he's in his old age and his children are old enough to manage his properties, and so he wants to hand over his company to them and then make sure the first born who is Cedric Forson, would choose his wife, the woman of which he wants to spend his lifetime with from the ladies selected..... then he can hand over his company to him." Mr. Williams then announced that he'll start with his last born and the only female among his children which is Mariam Forson. Mariam Forson is a young beautiful girl at the age of 20, who's well educated, has her master's degree in fashion, she's well trained, hardworking and also a very beautiful young lady. "This and many other reasons are why I am handing over my Fashion company to my beloved daughter since she's more into fashion. So, I'm handing over all my fashion companies and that of all the city malls across the country in my name to her and to add up with six of my luxury cars and five mansions into her name and a sum of 200,000,000 US dollars to her," Mr. Williams said. As the tension in the room mounted, all eyes turned to Mariam Forson, the youngest daughter of Mr. Williams Forson. Mariam, with her graceful demeanor and impeccable fashion sense, stood before the gathered family members and guests, her heart pounding with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Mr. Williams Forson, with a proud smile on his face, began to speak, "My darling Mariam, you have shown exceptional talent and dedication in the field of fashion. It is with great joy and confidence that I entrust you with the responsibility of leading our fashion company to new heights. May you continue to shine brightly in all your endeavors." Mariam, overwhelmed with gratitude and a sense of duty, accepted her father's words with humility and determination. She knew that the weight of her father's legacy now rested on her shoulders, and she was ready to carry it with grace and resilience. "To continue with my second born," Mr. Williams said. George Forson is a very handsome and a quiet hard-working gentleman he has second class upper in finance and is very humble. George, is a man of few words but strong convictions. "Mr. Williams said with joy. He listened intently as his father spoke of his achievements and potential. Mr. Williams Forson's voice resonated in the room as he declared.
