I've never moved so fast in my life. When I saw her falling , I managed to reach her just in time to stop her head hitting the hard ground . She was as white as a sheet and limp in my arms . My dragon was going nuts ,screaming in my head to protect his mate . I guessed she could be our mate when I saw her in the classroom ,but Silas, my dragon, just confirmed it. Finally, we found her .
I glanced over at Kaleb and couldn't help grinning like a Cheshire Cat ." We found our mate finally " " we can't be sure yet. Kas my wolf thinks she is, but I can't be sure , he wants to protect her and her scent is calling to me. " I told him I would shift into Silas and he would have to carry her on my back and we'd take her home.
It only takes 15 minutes to get home by flying. It would have taken a lot longer in the car. As soon as I landed on the front lawn, my mum,dad and two sisters came running from the house. Kaleb must of mind linked them we were on the way .
Kaleb gently climbs off my dragon's back with our mate in his arms. We don't even know her name yet or whatever she has been through to cause such a nasty swollen and bruised eye.
Julia Kaleb's mom and my adopted mom ushered us into the house and told Kaleb to take her to the guest room on our floor. Once she's laid on top of the bed, our mom sends us out so she can change her into something more comfortable to rest in . Me and Kaleb spend the time angrily pacing back and forth trying to figure out what's going on with this girl.
When our mom comes out of the room, she's shaking with tears streaking down her face ." What's going on mom, is she OK? I can't handle this mom. What's going on ? "What happened to that poor girl boys ? She's covered in scars and bruises all over her body. I'm surprised she could even walk the state her ribs are in ".
Chaos, that's the only word for what happens next. The deep snarl comes from Kaleb who is currently being held back by his dad ."Who did this to our mate?I'll kill them for touching what's mine.The collective gasp that came from our mother and sisters distracted us from our total meltdown for a second. " You found her ? Where was she and what the hell happened to her?
" Nevermind that for now " my dad said. Then mind linked the pack doctor to come see to our girl. We need answers and we needed them asap

I can hear voices coming from somewhere , shouting and growling. Where's the dog come from? I don't have a dog and I don' know anyone that does ... strange . It was peaceful in the dark of my brain. I've been here plenty of times usually after my mother or Mack has knocked me out. It's nice and calm here and I don't want to wake up yet . So enough with all the noise already . I'm so comfy laid here on this soft warm cloud . HANG ON, this feels a lot like a bed. When did I get into bed? Oh dear. I don't even have a bed. She must have hit me harder than I thought, I was hallucinating, not cool.
I'm about to return to my happy place back in my mind when I hear a knock. My mother never knocks. Oh, this is too confusing for me now , I need to open my eyes and figure out what's going on.
