Chapter 13: A New Adventure 2

As Emma and Alex snuggled on the couch, they talked about their plans for the future. They had both settled into their roles as parents and were happy with their little family, but they both knew that there was more they wanted to do.

"I've been thinking about going back to school," Emma said, breaking the silence.

Alex looked at her, surprise etched on his face. "Really? What do you want to study?"

"I'm not sure yet," Emma admitted. "But I feel like I want to do something that makes a difference, something that can help others."

Alex smiled, a look of pride in his eyes. "That's amazing. I'll support you no matter what you choose."
