AcknowledgementsTUDOR WAS THE very first Romanian character I ever wrote as a main character in a gay romance series. I took him to New York City, had him explore the beauty of the city, experience his very first musical, and fall in love with the Phantom of the Opera, man and show alike. When that story ended, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Tudor, or to his obnoxious friend, Radu. What I did instead was follow them around for three more short stories. I watched Tudor explore his paradise and discover his kinky side, while I kept an eye on Radu who was busy growing as a person. With each story, their bond grew stronger and they made it to best friends. Impressive, seeing how Tudor probably wanted to punch Radu in the face in the first short story, A Touch of Glamour. Touches, beyond the love stories it tells, shares my experiences in New York City—I fell hard and fast the first time I walked the streets of Manhattan—my obsession with Hawaii, and my hopes that people can redeem themselves, just as Radu did. I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I loved writing them. First and foremost, I’d love to thank my loved ones—boyfriend, family, friends—for always being there for me, supporting me through this crazy ride of writing books. They mean the world to me and I try hard to tell them every day. I’d also like to thank everyone who’s ever supported me by buying, reading, sharing, reviewing my books, gushing over covers, and generally make me feel like a real author. I read and appreciate all messages I get, all reviews I receive (yes, even the negative ones), all social media likes and comments. I hope my stories manage to touch you, at least a little bit! I’d also like to thank Lily Velden and Wayward Ink Publishing who were the first to offer a home to Tudor and Radu. While not all stories were written for their anthology, most of them were, and I appreciate the chance to share my writing with the world. Finally, I’d like to thank everyone who helped make this book reality – my amazing editors, my cover artists, and all those who offered advice when I was stuck on something. You make me a better writer every day. Well, I did manage to keep this shorter than usual. Please don’t get used to it, I fear I’ll disappoint you. *winks* Happy reading!
