I have been to the hospital and Mya has not made a single movement yet.
I'm always the one there, talking to her like she is alive but it's like she can hear me.
I've been thinking about when she asked about dating but I just want to be friends.
Today was another day of visiting her at the hospital. It was already 9:30. Visiting hours started at 9.
Walking into the hospital, I was greeted by Nurse Rose. She is sweet and know what is going on.
"Hey Mr. Alsina. Another here to see Mya ?" she said smiling.
"Yes." I said smiling back.
"Well let's just keep hope alive and pray she comes back."
"Thank you." she nodded and continued on what she was doing.
My ears rung from the sounds of the machines beeping. It was machines for everything.
Heat machine, lung machine, kidney machine, breathing machine. I mean how much do yall need anyways ?
I sat down next her and grabbed her hand and watched her sleep peacefully.
"Mya, if you can hear me. Squeeze my hand." I waited and nothing.
"Mya please wake up for me. I'm sorry for when I rejected you and we can try to be together." I sat there and it was silence.
I gave her a kiss on her forehead and began to walk out since she wasn't responding.
"It's okay. And we can be together." I spun around and called Nurse Rose and she came running.
"You were right, Nurse Rose. Thank you."
"Your welcome. How is Ms. Alsina ?" the look on her face was priceless.
"I'm fine. But I need some water." she nodded and walked out.
"I'm sorry I rejected you earlier." I said sitting back down holding her hand.
"Good. But August you really wanna date me ?" she said smiling.
"Yes. I feel like we should give it a try. If it doesn't work out we be friends. Deal ?"
"Deal." then the nurse came back in and gave me my water. And I stayed with Mya as we talked and we talked until I had to leave.
