The door to the room I was in was flung open, the light of a flame burning bright.  I squinted my eyes and slowly opened them again, trying to adjust my sight to the form in front of me. Slowly, the familiar vibration around the wolf that stood before me began, his fur disappearing and his human form taking shape.
