In the weeks that followed, Adam and his pack made sure myself and my parents were protected.  There were no more sightings of rogues or a hint of the witches that accompanied them.  The town was in the thick of preparations for Thanksgiving celebrations.  Lodges outside of town were booked with extended families, restaurants were buzzing and the guesthouse was thriving.  Mom and Dad had hired a part-time assistant to help out, so I didn’t feel too guilty about being at the pack house.  The conversations with Mom were focused on the time I spent away and my relationship with Adam.
