Lucille Silence hung heavily in the air. With each passing second, my mouth grew dryer and my skin prickled. Maintaining my façade, I kept my attention on King Theo as everyone awaited his response. That wasn't to say I was unaffected by the presence of my husband. I felt his stare, not with the dread as before, yet his presence was palpable.
