Chapter 7: Prince LATER at night, the bandits finally got tired in travelling and chose to rest near a place filled with trees around and a river. Since they are already near the market place where prostitutes are being sold like items, the rest of the bandits are already relaxing without knowing that Zeiden and the rest of the women are already planning to escape. Using teleportation, Zeiden got out the carriage swiftly and carefully when she heard that the bandits are already. And using a powerful spell, all the men who abducted the innocent ladies were placed under her deep sleeping spell that no matter what she would want to do with her, they would never wake up unless the spell already wore off. When their safety was assured, each woman went out of the wagons with faces that is half crying. Afterwards, they all went back to the bandits as they tied them up, punched their faces and kicked their bodies as hard as they could in various places until they were satisfied with how black their skin colors turned out. While the bandits were fast asleep, clueless about the world that night, the women used their time to escape. Since all of the wagon were five, the women from the same kingdom gathered together. And that incident became like an action pack dream for the women that Zeiden freed while it became a nightmare to the bandits who did not even understand how things turned out when they opened their eyes, saw the state of their bodies and found out that the women they were supposed to sell were already out of their sight. THE WOMEN began to separate paths. They all wholeheartedly thanked Zeiden while the latter was just acting bashful as she was scratching her head with reddened cheeks that could not contain all the compliments they were throwing at her. Their journey began without Zeiden knowing where the wagon she chose to accompany was going until Paris told her that they were on their way to Primrose Kingdom—the most beautiful kingdom of all, they said. Since they had no men with them, some women who knew how to maneuver the wagons and tame the horses took over. They are just switching and taking turns so that everyone could take a rest. Because of the long duration of the trip, Zeiden was unaware that she had slept next to Paris. The women whose turn to rest and the younger kids aand the older ones also found themselves a spot in the wagon to sleep and take a rest. Although it was uncomfortable, it was better than that they are still close to those who abducted them. THE SUN was already flaring a few hot streaks when Zeiden woke up from her sleep because of Paris’s few taps on her shoulder. "[Where are we now?]" Zeiden unconsciously asked using the royal tongue, still disoriented while blinking her eyes and removing the dried mucus around the corner of her eyes. Then, a yawn escaped from the mouth of the maiden that caused the corners of her eyes to get wet. Although still drowsy, she tried to stay awake. "We're at the entrance of the Primrose Kingdom, Zeiden," Paris replied softly to her, causing the latter to rise suddenly on her seat with eyes widening in excitement. The girl immediately got out of the carriage when she noticed that they were no longer moving and that only the two of them were inside. "Ah! So pretty!" Zeiden exclaimed loudly as her mouth gradually parted with her eyes sparkling in delight. Compared to all the kingdoms she has been to; she could say Primrose is the best of all. "Are you a princess, Zeiden?" Paris said suspisciously. Zeiden frowned and replied while still gaping at the scene. "Why did you ask that?" "I heard you speak in Orphes that only those in higher positions know and your beauty is also out of this world.” "Hmm ..." Zeiden ignored the girl's question. "Where are the others?" “They’ve gone back to their families.” Zeiden turned to Paris as she raised her thick eyebrow. "Eh, why are you still here? You're from Wisteria, aren't you?" They have already started walking. And since Paris is a princess and Zeiden is also a beautiful creature, all the people on the place they were passing by could not help but be stunned and glance at the two of them with admiration in their faces. The other one was definitely the princess of Wisteria while the other one looks like a normal mage, but they don't know why they could feel strange dangerous aura coming from her that makes them think—the other girl is definitely not normal. “Today, there is another competition being held here,” Paris began. Zeiden's face immediately had a big question mark on it so Paris explained it thoroughly. "A competition takes place in the five major kingdoms each year during five different days. All the princesses, princes, kings and queens of the five largest kingdoms gather to become the jurors or spectators of the battles. And here in Primrose is the final place where the battle will take place. " "Ah ..." Zeiden has nothing to say because first and last of all, she has no interest in joining any competitions. Paris noticed that and tried to change the topic. "Where are you going?" Zeiden's eyes seemed to light up when she saw a diner. She immediately ran towards it like a child while her companion just shook her head before following. "PARIS! You're a princess, aren't you? It means you're rich. Pay for the food that I will eat, huh? Today is the only day I can eat delicious food again as the ones that my mother left for me were all the same!" Zeiden straightforwardly said. When they entered the restaurant, she immediately pointed out the dishes on the menu that overwhelmed the server because of the amount. She didn't seem to eat for a few days because of her behavior while the princess was very modest when she acted and only ordered one dish. "Oh, why are you stuck in Primrose again?" Paris asked Zeiden who looked like a person who haven’t eaten anything for days. The maiden currently looks like a squirrel as she kept on putting spoonful of food inside her full mouth as if someone would take her food away if she slowed down even just a little. She is also chewing very fast that made her choke for a couple of times already. "Because you told me that the way to Mystique University is here," she replied as she held her stomach before suddenly burping loudly. “Oops. Excuse me.” Zeiden laughed before burping again. "What are you going to do there?" Paris asked, ignoring Zeiden’s lack of manners. "Thanks for the food!" "Do you know the way to get there?" Zeiden asked Paris who is sipping her tea. "No one knows the exact path. Only the students there and a few people who have been given a chance know it. If you want to get in there, you will have to participate first in the Primrose competition.” "What is this competition all about? Is it a duel?" Zeiden’s interest was piqued. "No. You just have to show off using your power. Once you passed and you're already inside the university, in there you will have a real fight against a mage every exam." "What time does it start and where will it be held?" Zeiden asked as she scooped a mouthful of her chocolate cake. "An hour from now in the capital of Primrose. You still have to sign up before..." Paris did not manage to continue what she was saying when she realized that the girl that she was talking to was already gone in a flash. "So unwomanly!" Paris exclaimed in disbelief as her eyes darted at the mountain of plates that Zeiden managed to eat. "Hah! She doesn't really look like a woman," Paris whispered before she got up and left gold coins on the table before leaving the diner. YVO ORPHEDEUS, the only prince of the Primrose Kingdom whose eyes have the same color as the sun. Most strands of his hair are also golden. People in Primrose Kingdom does not have a pure color eyes or hair as they always possess another or more than one magic. Because of that, not everyone there has golden hair. In fact, Yvo’s hair color also has a mixture of gray mixing with the gold. Inside the Primrose library where a guy came from, a few books flying towards a window could be seen darted towards a person. However, that person only ran faster before jumping like a child down the window of the third floor to escape his most unwanted subject—history! Since Yvo is the prince of the largest and most powerful kingdom, he needed to learn everything ever since he was young. It's not like he doesn't go to school, it’s just that, he needs to learn everything well until they engrave in his mind, as his parents have instructed. While laughing out loud like a mad man, Yvo is now running away from the palace with an arch on his lips. In his mind, he is thinking that once his teacher probably saw his face again, his face will definitely redden in anger towards him. The other reason why Yvo decided to leave his current lesson during his class vacation was to watch the competition that will take place today in their place but before that, he thought of strolling around the place first. At the back of his horse guardian named Llyod, the prince strolled around with a bright smile on his lips. Everyone he saw greeted him with a warm smile as he did the same. Yvo is the most famous of all the princes in Chronus and his subjects loved him dearly as he was also rumored to be the warmest prince among the others. Everyone knows him and he knows everyone. Until he saw a young lady with pitch black eyes and hair who seems to be strolling. Black? Can a mage have a black hair and eyes? If the five largest and central kingdoms have a color differentiator, so do the other people in other places of Chronus. It really depends on the power of the person so only the five great kingdoms were known by most because of the large number of their members. He held his breath for a moment as his heartbeat changed. Is she a princess? But that thing is impossible because he knew all the princesses in Chronus and this woman he had seen now doesn’t seem familiar at all. However, his momentary fantasy stopped when he saw the three men behind the girl, chasing after her. For what reason? He didn't know. Without hesitation, he made Llyod run fast and bowed a little then he grabbed the girl with his right hand so that she could ride in front of his horse. "Hoh! Those guys are really stubborn, making me run like that!" the woman complained as they got away from her pursuers. "Do you mind if I ask you why are you being chased?" Yvo asked curiously. He also wants to know the reason. "It's not my fault that they're stupid..." the woman began while panting. "Stupid?" The woman wiped the sweat that formed on her forehead and neck before speaking. "Well, if they were going to commit a crime, at least they should do it in a private place so that no one likes me would interfere. Because I saw them, I kicked their asses in return and made their hostage run away. The woman is too beautiful to be played by those guys whose faces were worse than monkeys in the forest." The woman stopped speaking when a realization hit her. "She's a princess!" she exclaimed. Yvo, on the other hand, was just listening, unable to stop his lips from rising into a smile. He was very pleased with the way that the woman talks. He could not help himself but to be entertained. "Hey, man! Why are they all looking at us?" "I am the prince of the Primrose Kingdom, Yvo Orphedeus. Don't you know me?" Yvo said to the woman. "Ah..." she only said. He thought she knew his name which made his heart rejoice. Little did he know that the next thing the woman would say could break his heart into pieces. "I do not know." Yvo's jaw dropped. "Anyway, I'm Zeiden!" the woman said energetically. "And since you said you are a prince, you’ll be the one to take me to the place where the competition will be held!" Zeiden chearfully ordered the prince. Seemingly a hypnotized creature, Yvo just found himself following what the woman said.
