Parenting is fun and hard, not to mention messy. I adopted my daughter when she was just a baby. I wanted a family to take care of. She is now 4 years old. If I tell her the truth, she'll hates me forever. I got in my car and drove to her elementary school. It was 2:50 in the afternoon. I got out of my car and she came running into my arms shouting "MOMMY!". I was happy with what I have. “Hi sweety, how was school?" I asked my daughter. After all, a mother needs to know. She told me everything except that she was hiding something. We drove straight home. “ sweety, I know your hiding something from. Tell me what is it?” “mom?” she askes, curiosity overflowing in her eyes. “Yes?” “Who's my father?" she asks out of nowhere. “I'm sorry. What?” “ Victoria says she has a father who is rich, and she asked me about my father so I couldn’t tell her because you didn't” she blurts this out all at once. I get up from my seat and say "time for homework, sweetheart”. I take her hand and walk with her to her bedroom. I take her backpack put up on the hook. I just can't tell her the truth right now. I check her bag for homework, and of course… just I thought there is some homework. It's math and reading. I help her with both. Then at 9 pm, I tuck her in as usual. And as usual, she wants a lullaby, my little. I hum some tunes for her until she falls asleep. I get from there and as soon as I’m out of her room, I get a message. Your daughter never sees you again… ps check her bedroom. Oh my god……… I go and check on her, but she’s gone. I put my hands in my mouth. No no no no no…. My precious daughter is gone. I couldn't sleep at all after that incident. I couldn't eat either. I was on the floor crying.
