Chapter 78

Moon’s POV.

I am here in the Primus and I am standing under the gate.

“Moon!” someone called for me and it was Lorelie.

“Lor!” I opened my arms for a hug but I got a hit in the head.

“You’ crazy we’ve looking for you! Where have you been?” Lorelie scolded me.

“I was with Ester.” I reasoned.

She pulled my ear.

“Ouch!” I groaned from the pain.

“Calcifer told us to let Ester go alone but still, you sneek and go with her.”

“I was worried about her!”she pulled up my ear even more.

“Ooouch!”

“Ehem.” Virgil coughed

“Lorelie, Virgil is here.”

“What?” Lorelie look at Virgil who is beside me.

“Virgil! You are back!” Lorelie hugged virgil while me did not.

“Yes, I’m back.” Lorelie let go of the hug and lead Virgil inside.

“You did a lot of work here.” We stumble in many houses.

“I didn’t do it, silly. Everyone help to build this.”

Lorelie is so humble.

We get inside in the mansion and sat in the sofa, the childrens are here playing with Rom.

Rom are really easy to get along with children.

“Rom,” I called.

He snub me. Even him, is angry that I am with Ester?

“Rom, come here.” Lorelie called him and he obeyed. Hmp!

“This is Virgil, and Virgil this is Rom and Rem, Rem is inside of Rom” Virgil got confused but he followed the flow.

“Nice to meet you Rom & Rem.”

“Nice to meet you.”

Rom left Virgil and continued to play with children.

“Calcifer, you’re heree!” Lorelie called.

“I heard Moon and Virgil is here but what about Ester?”

I scratched my head, you see…”Ester is going to continue her journey, she told me to call Rem and Rom to come with her.”

“For what?”

I shrugged.

“I don’t know too?”

“When are you going back there?”

“After this,”

“I’ll coming with you.”

Wait..what??

“You don’t have to come, Calcifer!”

“No…I’ll coming.”

“Calcifer, you can’t.” Lorelie stopped Calcifer, “You can’t go to public places.”

Lorelie, my savior!

“You’re an eye catcher. If someone sees you there with Ester, it will be a big trouble.” Lorelie continued.

Even though Calcifer disguise or stops his hair from flying people have the magic to spot him and reveal his identity.

It’s a big no no! For him to go to Ao Kingdom.

“Also, I heard that your brother is hiring people to search for you.” Virgil said, “How long has it been that you visited home? Ha.”

It’s not odd for Virgil to know tht information since he has been living outside. I see…he is still into gossips.

“Don’t mind them.” Calcifer answered.

“I know something is suspicious when I heard that our own Calcifer is rebelling and here he his…resurrecting the dead.” Virgil teasingly laugh at Calcifer which Calcifer find offensive.

What he meant by resurrecting the dead, he was referring to Ester.

Virgil is the same as ever. He still like provoking Calcifer.

“Stop it, Virgil.” Lorelie scolded Virgil.

“Sorry, mi vida.” He said with a smug on his face.

Lorelie ignored Virgil and focus on Calcifer.

“Calcifer, it’s better if you go home, your family is looking for you.”

I preferred for Calcifer to do what Lorelie said or else if they find Calcifer, the Primus might get involved and they will also found out about Ester. We must prevent it from happening.

Calcifer knows the end game if he is found out here hence he have no choice but to leave and go home.

“I will go home so make sure before I came back, Ester must be home.”

Calcifer disappeared, what Calcifer is asking for us is difficult. How can we convinced that hardheaded to go home? And, I am scared what will Calcifer might do to us if we failed to accomplished what he asked.

I felt like walking on a tightrope and holding a scale, debating which side should excel.

“Moon,” Lorelie called for me and gives a thumbs up, “I know you can do it.”

My shoulder dropped, I felt my sould want to get out from my body.

I thought we are in this together, Lorelie!

I object! I’m not going to do this alone, Ester won’t even listen to me and always giving me orders like I am his servant!

“I am in charge of the Primus and I can’t leave it alone. Besides, Rem and Rom are with you.”

Right…Ester are looking for them.

At least, Ester listen to Rem and Rom but I am worried for the days that they are with me because Rom snobbed at me just by sneaking coming with Ester.

I will be having a one hell of a journey

“Bring Camel with you. You will get there faster.” Alpha appeared with Camel in human for. Camel is the son of Alpha, the one that injured Rem and Rom, and the reason that Ester needed my power.

I could fly though there’s no use riding his back but Rom could use his help. Maybe, being with Camel will not make Rom focus on me since Camel and Rom are not in good terms.

But…I was wrong.

After, waiting for Rom to pack his things. The two keeps on exchanging death glares and how unlucky of me that I am in between them.

“Make sure to convince Ester to go home, okay?” Lorelie making sure that we remember the task that is given.

“I don’t understand why he have to come along when Ester is only looking for me and Rem.” Rom stated and rolled his eyes at Camel.

“why do I have to let this rude and suicidal ride my back?” Camel talked back and shouted.

“I didn’t ask for your help, I can endure walking in days. I prefer if you don’t come at all.”

I can see that Camel has entered in Rom’s nerves since Rom don’t usually shut and always calm.

They are getting closer everytime they shouted and I squeeze myself to give them space.

“You to stop fighting,” I pushed them away from each other because any time now, they might regret what happen next.

“Lorelie, we will be on our way and we will come back with Ester.” I bid my goodbye.

It took longer for us to go since Rom is being a wimp, he don’t want to ride on Camel’s back so I took Rom in my arms and flee while tightly holding him or else he might fall. Further than that, he was easy to carry.

Third Person POV

Aurelius Mansion

I am standing near the window of my room here in the second floor of the mansion. Here in this Mansion, is where the party is going to held.

I am waiting for someone and that is why I keep inspecting all the guests face outside.

"Your Highness, Titus, they're coming."said one of my follower while in salute.

I just nod at him, still looking outside the window.

I've been waiting for this. I can't wait what to do with her. I wonder what kind of face her father will make.

I stop looking outside and stop waiting for her.

I looked at the door of my room and my follower already open it.

I went out and notice 20s of my followers line up in the hall.

"The time has come, Your Highness."

"We hope you succeeds."

"The justices is on your side."

All of my followers are loyal to me. They can't disobey me cause once they do that, they know what is going to happen to them.

"Thank you all of you."I express my gratitude to them."Today is very important to me and I hope that no one make a mistake. I'm a serious man, if I know that you made a mistake, I will certainly kill you."after I said that they stand straight and chin up as an implication of salute.

"Understood!"

I am now walking down the stairs even though the party is not yet started, the music is very loud. Can't they just wait for me to arrived before they play the music?

After the stairs, there is a big door in front of me. When they open this, I will be having my dramatic entrance.

Two of my followers started pushing the heavy door. The lights of the disco ball begins to be visible to where I am. The music slowly stop, and the eyes of everyone is in me. The heavy door was wide open and I am standing in the center of the doorway.

There was a seconds of silent until everyone was murmuring.

I know...that this is a bad idea. Inviting anyone and organizing a party? Certainly, a bad idea. But it must be done, in order to cover up what is going to happen. And, no need to worry, my followers gonna protect me.

I was guided into the center.

All of the operators of this party are my followers.

Before a party starts, the organizer should have a welcome and opening remark. Since, I'm the organizer...I'll be the one giving the remark.

I clapped once to get their attention.

"Good evening guest. I want to thank you for coming here tonight. Tonight, I want to celebrate with you the Triumph of defeating the demons that's wanted to take over our Kingdom. This party is dedicated to our Knights that fights in the front line, this is for them!"

Clapping and praising are heard all over the room.

"The party starts now!" a follower shouted.

The music starts playing loudly. Everyone are dancing and drinking.

I am guided by my follower to a seat that reserve for me.

My other follower salute, "She's here, Sir."I express a distaste look to his salute. It's off.

I look at the door where guests enter and she's there, Samanta was grabbing her to a table where a group of friends is drinking. Samanta is a follower of mine that's why she is following my order and also, she need something for me.

And the girl Samanta that she is grabbing by the arm is Llorien. The girl, I despise.

They were having fun chatting and drinking. Then, her friends starts to get up and pull one of their friends into the dance floor. But, she stayed in her seat. Samanta invited her but she declined.

All is according to plan. Samanta succeed on bringing Llorien here, since we know Llorien can't dance she will remained in her seat which is, what is exactly happening right now. Then another follower must again invite her to dance then force her and that's where I appear.

I need to get near to her. I stand up and went to the dance floor. The music was kind of wild. I saw Samanta dancing near Llorien so I went to Samanta and dance with her. Samanta was kind of shocked since it's not part of the plan.

"Sir Titus?"she was about to salute but I stopped her. I held her hand, raise it and make her turn around. She is still shocked.

"Act normal."I said. The music change into slow.

She put her hand in my neck and I put my hand in her waist then we dance slowly.

"She's there, Sir."she whisper, Samanta looked at my left, I followed her gaze, I caught Llorien staring at us. Why is she staring right at us? Did Samanta told her?

I angrily stared at Samanta, and she turned red.

"Did you tell her? Why is she staring at us?"I unconsciously tight my gripped to her waist.

"Sir, Act normal."she chuckle pretendingly. I also chuckle sarcastically.

"No sir, I didn't tell her. She's staring right us, cause she is your fan and she is jealous that we are dancing right now.

"Really?"

"Yes, Sir. "I loosen my grip and continue to dance.

I notice that is not just Llorien staring at us but also the people here in the party. Are they also jealous?

Luckily, my followers are surrounding me pretending one of the party guests so they can protect me if one of the guest attempt to come near me but so far so good, no one attempting.

They must be realized that they are out of my reach and I'm too good for them.

I notice that my follower , Steven, who is gonna invite Llorien to the dance floor starts to move. Just like in the plan he should pretend to be aggressive and try to harass Llorien. I see his hand in the lap of Llorien and Llorien removed it. They start talking and Steven moves closer to Llorien. Llorien stand up and Steven holds her hand.

"Samanta get out of here."I remove my hand in her waist and push her lightly. Samanta immediately went to the back door.

My eyes is still in Llorien and Steven but, I am shocked to see Steven let go the hand of Llorien. Llorien hurriedly went to the door where Samanta and her enter.

I feel dismay, why!? Why did he let her go? This is not part of the plan!

I glared at Steven. Who is still staring at Llorien with a small smile.

Fool! Did you just betrayed me? After this, I will get back to you.

Thankfully, she is still in the Mansion and she is looking for something or someone? Must be Samanta.

I catch up to her and called her.

"Ms. Pacaldo?"I smiled at her and pretend to be friendly.

"Ms. Pacaldo, right?"I asked again, cause she look like dumbfounded.

"Uh-Umm Yes. Your highness?" she stutter and she is shaking a little bit.

"Don't be nervous." I laugh a little to look more friendly. "I will not do something bad to you unlike that boy who just grab you." her forehead furrowed. Oh oh. Wrong move, I should not say that.

"I don't meant to spy you with your boyfriend, Your friend Samanta introduce you to me that you are a fan. And I want to introduce myself to you but before I got near, you were having an argument with your boyfriend."I said.

"He is just my friend, Your highness."

I laugh at her word, she is not good at making an excuse who would fall for that.

"Good, That guy is only your friend." I continued. I'm trying to make her open to me or make her think that I'm a good guy that have interest to her which is not.

"Let us get some seats?" I offer. And, she agrees

I guided her to a table here in the mansion, I let her sit first then me. It was planned that there only few people in this area. And still, my followers are still preventing the people to get near me but not too obvious.

The waiter serve us some alcohol. Mine is red wine while her is cocktail that the waiter put a drug on it. Just one sip and she will lost conscious.

Then, my followers starts to evacuate all of the guests one by one, silently that Llorien won't notice.

It's my job to take her attention and talk to her until the guest are out.

She started talking and there's only one thing I could say about her. She talked a lot.

I waited for her to faint but, she haven't at least one sip on the f*****g cocktail! And I'm running out of topic.

Then she asked me who is my motivation and I don't have a choice but to answer it.

Thankfully, she shut up when I talk about my mother. But, at the same time, I'm not thankful cause she still haven't take a sip on a f*****g cocktail!

She raise the cocktail and take a sip, that took so long I thought that she's not gonna drink it.

I think she notice the silence and look around if there's people left but there isn't.

My followers succeessfully evacuate them to my other party which is held back on this Mansion.

She look at the clock hanging on the wall and her eyes widen and nervously stand up.

No, Not yet! The drug is still not kicking in! I can't just let her leave! My plan will go to waste!

"Thank you for your time, Your Highness. But, I have to go." she bid her goodbyes.

"Wait! How about Samanta?" I tried to stop her by using Samanta but she said, "I think she's already at home since, its already 2 hours. I'm going home."

"No! You can't leave!"

She's near at the door but, I won't let her go out.

I grab the red wine bottle at the table which is a display.

I eye my follower that is hiding and I think he knows what I meant. To turn off all the lights'

When the lights was turn off, I can still see her because she is near at the window and the light of the moon illuminates her, that's when I take my chance I hit her head with the bottle.

The impact is just enough to make her unconscious but unfortunately she is still moving. She must be thankful of how hard her head is.

Her hair is wet and smell of red wine.

She is still struggling to escape, she make an attempts to move but her body failed her.

I kneeled down to look her closely.

"I almost lost you." if only the drug kick in earlier you wouldn't suffer like this.

"The drug took longer than I expected, I have no choice but to use this bottle."

She tried to get up again but failed again.

"You must be tired." Its must be painful, she is still struggling. What a hardheaded girl.

"Just go to sleep."

I grab another bottle near me and hit her head again. I should just wait for her to faint than to hit her head again but waiting for her is just a waste of time. I'm glad I hit her head again.

"You must save your energy." her eyes is still half open, she need to save her energy cause tomorrow you gonna need it cause the real party starts tomorrow.

"The party isn't over yet."after I said that, she lost conscious.
