Chapter 68

Third Person POV.

Jankik was at the top of the house, observing and looking for a piece of information he could give to the 1st High-Class Demon.

He can’t go back to Hell without a gift.

He looks for Rufus whose hideout is here.

While wandering around, he smelled a familiar aroma.

It was faint but he knows who owns this and he was so excited to meet her again and fight her.

Before, he gets away he was able to put a mark on her.

He looked for her and finally he found it.

He was grinning widely and excited to go to where she is.

Ester POV.

“He is Virgil.”

Moon vouch for Virgil.

“Really, so we can go back to Primus now?”

I’m not excited to find out Virgil not as I came here first before.

“About that…” Moon scratched his head. “He is not coming.”

It is not surprising at all, he wouldn’t deny his true self in the first place if he really wanted to come with me.

He recognized me in the first place but he chose not to know me.

“Aren’t you coming because you are scared to have connections with me?” He left Ester when she was the enemy of everyone, of course, Virgil… doesn’t want anything to do with Ester.

Why would he come back now if I am still the enemy of everybody, he will choose not to have connections with me. Why did I waste my time finding him? I should have used it to train the people in Primus.

“Alright, If that what you wish. Moon, Let’s go.” I gestured to Moon that we are leaving.

“Wait…you’re leaving already.” Lucios who is still confused about what is happening, was standing there and told Virgil to not let us leave.

“Thie is goodbye, Lucios.” I bid farewell. Ugh…I don’t want to leave without a remembrance, I should have stolen the camera and organized my own photoshoot with Lucios.

“Are you really going to leave?” he was sad.

“Don’t worry we will see each other again.”

I bid my goodbyes for the last time.

I opened the door and I felt an aura coming towards here.

It was moving fast, anytime now it will hit the ground.

Magic System! Activate a barrier.

‘As you wish.’

A loud crash and shake were felt inside, we made it in time.

“What is that?” Lucios asked.

I went out and look for it myself.

I look where the enemy crashed and I found him on top of the barrier.

I recognized its silhouette.

It was… “Blue…” it was the demon I faced in Ester’s forest. The one that caused Rom and Rem to almost get killed.

What is he doing here?

“I found you!” he jumped and jumped in excitement.

“AHH! Demon!” one of the crowd here in the black market shouted.

“Hello!” he waved at them like he wasn’t an enemy.

“AHH!”

Everyone ran and stayed away from the Demon.

Virgil and Lucios are also already outside and looking out at the demon.

“You…!” Virgil grab me in the collar, “You brought it here!”

I shoved his hand off of my collar, “He came here on his own. I have nothing to do with it.”

“He was looking for you, if you didn’t come here in the first place we wouldn’t get caught in this!” He keeps on blaming me.

“Virgil, this is not West fault.” Lucios grabbed Virgil’s shoulder to step back from me.

“That’s the name she told you?” Virgil sniggered. “Good for you that I can’t say your true name.”

“Virgil, I don’t care if it's her true name or not. What’s important here is that we shouldn’t blame each other.” He tried to calm down Virgil but Virgil was so stubborn.

He was about to drag me out of here but he was attacked by the Blue Demon. He fled to the other side along with Lucios.

“I am the only one who can do that to her.” Blue acted possessive.

Virgil was able to protect Lucios from hitting the wall, he was able to use his body.

Lucios pass out while Virgil was glaring at the Blue Demon and me.

“How are you, Witch?” The Blue Demon shakes my hand.

“I haven’t forgotten that you beat me in the pulp. By that, I am going to get my revenge. Can I have the honor to fight you?” He still shaking my hand non-stop and he was holding it tightly like my bone is breaking.

“I can’t fight you today.”

“Huh?” his voice saddens.

“You see, you have to fight me because if you don’t I’ll tell all the demons you are awake. I haven’t told them because I want to make a solo with you.” He smirked, he’s blackmailing me.

It’s not that I am afraid of the demons, I just don’t want to end up everything in violence. If possible, I want to save this world without any fight but it seems that it will not happen because the Blue Demon here, is threatening me that he will tell everyone if I don’t fight him.

One isn’t gonna hurt right?

“Fine. I’ll fight you.” I gave up on his wishes.

His face brightens, “Really?!”

“Yes, but I can’t fight you today.” I can’t fight here in the black market, the knight might come here and arrest us. And, it almost morning I have to go back to the In’n

“I am fine with any time.” Then, he started jumping around. “Say my name three times, when it’s time to fight. Okay? I’ll be going now.”

He left without saying his name, fool! How can I call you if I don’t even remember your name?! I only called you Blue and not your name.

Well, it’s not my fault. I’ll just wait for him to come to me.

Virgil was carrying Lucios in bridal style, Lucios is still unconscious.

“Get out of here.” He shoved me away and he went inside of the house.

I was left with Moon with me and the Cat.

“Are we going back to Primus?” asked Moon.

“Not yet… I still have to fight that Blue Demon, we will wait for him in the In’n.”

Before the sunrise, we were able to get home in time.
