“What?!” the girl trembles even more, “You’re an adventurer! I’m in trouble.”
“Hmm… West, come here.” The woman behind the curtain ordered me.
I do what I was told, I stand in front of the curtain. I can feel that she’s looking at me.
“Not bad.” A hint of amusement was heard in her voice. “What if change your profession into one of my workers, a flower.”
I don’t even know what kind of profession she is offering, I have to be witty.
“What do flowers do?” I asked.
“You’ll serve the important customer and make them happy.” Hmm… I want to know more about this profession.
“What kind of serving will I do?”
“Since, you are new. You will just serve them a drink.”
“What will happen after days of working with you?”
“That is the time that you have to do what flowers should do.”
“What kind of work will it be?” I have a bad feeling about this?
“That’s a secret. If you work here, you will have your room and free food.”
Actually, I don’t have money but I can make one and the problem is, it may cause inflation.
I might be the cause of the downfall of this kingdom and I don’t want that.
So… “I accept.”
“Good!”
I have to find the other member fast before I get to work what a flower’s work should.
If I can’t find them before the flower’s work I will flee from here.
“Niko, led her to her room.”
“YES!” the girl jumped.
“Come with me.” She whispered in my ear.
“You’ll start working tomorrow and Niko, make sure to guide her.”
The girl saluted, “Yes Maam.”
“Let see at dinner.”
I nod then the girl led me out of the door and we started walking towards a room.
It’s a different room, it is fancier than I entered before.
I sat on one of the chairs and take off the accessories because it was too heavy.
I am about to take off the earring when I heard a thud then I saw kneeling in front of me.
“I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” she repeated.
Why is she apologizing? Actually, this benefited me because I was able to have a free room and free food.
“Why are you apologizing?”
“I made a mistake and now, you work here!” she bangs her head multiple times and it’s starting to get red.
“I don’t mind working. I’m used to work.”
In my past world, I was a waitress and had multiple jobs then I have to support my family. I really don’t mind working here too.
“No, you don’t understand. Being a flower is different from other work. You should escape now especially you don’t know anything for now.”
It’s being a flower that bad? That she doesn’t want me to work here.
‘’What do flowers do?”
She covered her mouth, “I can’t tell you. You should escape now.”
“I can’t do that, I don’t want to be a coward and run away.”
She shakes me, “Are you crazy?! You don’t listen do you!”
“I don’t know the reason why should I run away even if I do, I would not run away.” My voice shook as she shakes me.
“Suit yourself! Don’t blame me if something happens, I tried to warn you!”
She left the room with a frown on her face.
This inn made me curious that’s why I can’t leave. I’ve been feeling something, the same as the aura of My One and Sir Alpha but stronger…just like Jankik.
“Meow…”
I heard a meowing sound below me and I saw a cat.
A cat?!
“What are you doing here?”
It’s the cat that I found in Godey Forest when Rem and Rom were unconscious.
“I’m finally in my original form!”
I heard someone talking in my back.
“Moon!” I didn’t expect him to be here!
“HI!” he excitedly jumped.
The cat jump in his arms.
“What are you doing here? And, How did you get here?”
He’s not supposed to be here. Calcifer told me to go alone.
“I’ve been clinging with you for days.” Clinging? How? Why didn’t I notice?
“I change myself to a size of hair lice so I’ve been in your head for days.”
“That’s…creepy.” He can transform himself with a size of a lice that’s he can use to stalk someone.
“It’s not creepy.”
“Yet it is, plus you’ve been in my head along with the cat is kind of creepy. Creep.”
I look at him with disgust on my face.
“Don’t look at me like that!” he shouted.
I didn’t stop.
“I won’t do it again. It’s my only option not to get a notice that I’m following you.”
“When did you start following me?”
“When you’re still packing.” That’s why I didn’t see him when I was about to go.
“Why did you bring this cat?”
He scratched the back of her head, “I need a companion exploring your head you know!”
Why won't he just say that he is scared of being alone?
“Did you bring any food with you?”
He nodded, “Yes, and I think If I get home Madonna will scold me.”
“I thought so too because you didn’t tell her.”
“By the way, are you really going to work? You’re the head of the Primus Compact why make yourself a worker.”
Didn’t he feel the aura, he should be suspicious right now and get a hint why I am doing this.
“This part of the disguise, I felt something wrong in this building so I wanted to investigate what is happening.”
His face is puzzled, “We don’t have time for that, we have to find him first!” he was talking about the other member.
“Let me investigate first if I don’t see anything wrong we will continue looking for him, alright?”
I can’t just ignore it, it is better to investigate first than to regret it at last.
