“Ester, we’re at the main gate of Marsh Ao Kingdom.” Elder Phix’s daughter said.

“Good. Wait for my signal to get inside. And, didn’t we decide to call me West?”

“Got it, West.”

West is my pseudonym. They will be calling me that from now on since we don’t want everyone to know that I am the Witch of the Winch’s Forest. Even though, the people in this era don’t know my name apparently the High Beings do.

It’s been four months since we transport at Godey Forest and we didn’t expect that we gathered attention that fast, who wouldn’t be shocked that a Mansion along with the whole land that transported out of nowhere?

“Mayday, EPD., Mayday.”

“I hear you, West.”

EPD., are scouting at the Marsh Ao Kingdom, their job is to gather information about the world’s happenings and the demons. Luckily, the demons haven’t noticed that we are not in our place before and they are still camping at the sea which is kilometers away from us.

“Infiltrate now.”

“Roger.”

EPD along with other Phix was trained as that works in the underground.

Their level increases and they are stronger than before. And, the goblin doesn’t need my human form magic because since they level up they are given a human form.

In communicating, we are using Fairy’s communicating device, the uke. It’s a seed with a sprout and it transmits sound and voices to another seed…Of course, we use magic to transmit it to the right seed.

“West! The stocks disappeared again!” Moon reported.

“What? Again! That is the third time!” I head to the storage room and saw the empty box and barrels disarranged. Sir Ax Goblin is already there.

“Have you found any hint, who might do this, Sir Sunny?” asked Moon.

“The suspect didn’t leave any evidence and he left the scene undetected.”

“How did they enter?” I asked.

“It seems they entered through the gate and dispersed a part of our barrier so that they can enter.”

Who are they to easily enter the front gate?

If only CCTV exists where there will be no trouble in finding the suspects. But, who could have done this without leaving a trace? They seem like a professional.

“Is beef our lunch, again?” Moon asked sadly and feels like burping. ”I’m tired of eating beef.”

The cow is one of the animals that exist in this world, we were able to mass reproduce when we transported here. For now, we have a cow and chicken but the chicken is still low in population and we are still looking for another animal to mass reproduce.

Wild beasts are common in this area which is why we are having a hard time looking for animals.

“I heard that stock been stolen, again.” Pink appeared. “I’m here to check out if there’s anything left.”

She’s the head chief and losing all the supplies must be difficult for her to cook.

“Luckily, they left this sack of flour. I can make different food with just beef and flour.”

We clapped.

“That’s our chief!” Sir Sunny.

“Are you going to make Beef steak with gravy and mushrooms?” asked Moon with sparkling eyes.

I thought he’s tired out of eating beef?

Pink messed Moon’s hair, “Of course!”

“Child, come to the meeting room.” I heard Lore said in my uke.

“Gonna go. Lore is looking for me.”

I left the three and head to the Meeting room in the Mansion.

Calcifer, Lore, Sir Alpha, the two Elders, and the Fairy are already there and I’m the only one they’ve been waiting for.

“Have a seat.” Lore offered me the seat in the center at the end of the table.

Ugh…This is so uncomfortable.

“What’s the report?” I asked.

The atmosphere has been serious since I entered.

“The case about the stolen goods is serious than we thought.” Lore started.

Is there anything more serious than everyone is running of foods on their table?

“Tell me.”

Lore looked at the Fairy and nodded, giving her a sign to talk.

“We suspected the Elves are the ones who stolen the stock in our storage room.”

The elves? Why would they do that?

“The Elves when they get offended, they avenged by stealing the babies, milk, and bread or enchant and hold young men in their spell for years at a time.” The fairy continued.

Elves, huh. I heard about them in Shoes’s Book.

‘Elves lived in kingdoms found in forests, meadows, or hollowed-out tree trunks. Slender, human-sized, and beautiful, with fine — almost angelic — features. They are friendly towards the humans and not in a good relationship with the Fairies.’

“Have they stolen babies and men in our area?” Elder Phix asked while a shock on her face.

“Luckily, our men are not their type so there’s still no news that our men have been stolen, same as the babies.” Fairy said.

“What?? Our men have the face of Adonis!” I petition. I won’t accept it! They should kidnap our men to earn the badge of the Kingdom where handsome men live.

“What is Adonis?” Moon appeared with a plate in his hand.

“Ester, don’t put your feet at the table.” Calcifer scolded me.

“Mayday, Mayday.” A call was heard in uke. It’s EPD.

“Aye, EPD.”

“We gathered a piece of important information. It looks like Elves has been stealing goods everywhere in the kingdom..”

What? So, it’s also happening everywhere.

“We will tell you the details when we get home in 3 Days.

“Great. We will be waiting.”

It takes three days for EPD to arrive here. I should think of another way for fast transportation.

“What should we do with the Elves?” asked Lore.

“ We will level up our barrier, enhance our guard security, and fine another storage room.” I would like to give this job to Calcifer but I know he will refuse again.

I think I’ll take care of the barrier.

“We will wait for EPD before making a move. For now, let’s focus on defense.”
