Dalia POV.

“Where is she?” I kick the heavy door that is blocking my way.

“Tsk, she’s not here.” I didn’t found any traces of her. Where could she be?

I kick another door from another room. No matter how much I engance my senses, I don’t locate any traces of her.

“Your highness…” a butterfly was trembling in my sides, “Don’t kick another door! Please! I’m begging you!”

She kneeled down and bowing her head until it reach the floor.

“You can fixed it again with magic.” I was bit annoyed so I looked at her accidentally in fierce way which makes her tremble even more.

“Commander!” one of my knight running towards me.

He saluted when he is in front me and I faced him, waiting for what his about to say.

“We apologize but we didn’t see your Porcupine,your Highness.”

I can feel the heat going up to my head and I think my ear right now is turning red.

"We search the whole place but we didn't see your Porcupine, Your High–Eek!"

"Y-your H-highness?"

My mind is rumbling where West is, I just taken my eyes off and poof! she just suddenly disappear.

“Yo! Is West here?”

I looked up to person who owned the voice.

A pretty boy who is smiling brightly at me, “W-what’s wrong?” his mouth curved when he saw that I am not happy to see him.

“I-is something wrong?” he asked the butterfly when he noticed that I am not going to answer him.

“She can’t find her Porcupine.” the butterfly answered.

“Oh…” his mouth-shaped into Oh, “Goodluck in finding him/her, I’m gonna go to Luna and asks West’s whereabouts.” He left while happily humming with himself.

How can I tell him that the Porcupine is West? What could have happened to West with a small feet and hands, she shouldn’t be far?

I don’t want to think bad that there’s maybe something happen to West? I will blame myself if there really bad happened to her.

Is she kidnapped? Who would have kidnapped her? Little Kids? Cats? Dogs?

It’s impossible because even though West is in a form of a Porcupine, she have a strong will to not be kidnapped by kids and animals since she have pride.

There’s only a place that I haven’t check…the bar, where Rufus is.

Hurriedly, I went to the room where the gate is.

“Your Highness! Please don’t kick the door!” a butterfly tried to stop me.

“What do you think of me? Dumb? Why would I kick a gate?”

It’s massive and thick that it will leave damage to my feet, I wouldn’t kick that.

“But…everytime something is blocking your way, you will kick them…”

The butterfly was whispering something, “What did you say?”

“I–I said that maybe your Porcupine is there…”

Hmm…I am sure she said different but nevermind that.

I pushed the gate and entered…suddenly, I realized the shadows hiding in the dark.

I can feel their desire but they are waiting for me to take my guard down.

To prevent them from going outside, I locked the gate and enchant a spell. I can’t let them go when they are in that situation if some of them got out from the gate, they will cause chaos outside. And I hope no one went out especially that Knight is here to investigate.

We will get caught and lead this kingdom to doom if that Knight will snitch.

It seems like the one hiding in the shadows is not in the state of mind, did they smell the chocolate that West eaten? No…impossible since the headquarters is far away they cannot smell that far.

Why are they in wild state?

I have to meet Rufus and when I am about to went out, there’s another way out… I will use that since it’s in the forest. If something happen and the demons followed me, I can stop them without worries that someone will see me.

Luckily, these wild ones didn’t attack me just yet maybe… they can still control some of their consciousness.

I am here where the bar is and seems the butterfly that is with me don’t noticed the shadows lurking around.

We entered the bar, only to found out that it was empty and messy.

We couldn’t found Rufus so I decided to left the bar. When we are on our way, a demon decided to block our way.

“Umm Sir, don’t block the way or you might get kick– I mean, may we know what happened here?”

The butterfly decided to talk and went near to the demon.

The demon were moving strangely, he looks like every joint broke. So, I decided to pull the butterfly and hide her from my behind.

“Your highness! What are you doing?” she shouted at me, she might be shock when I pulled her.

“It is not in his right mind.” I explained.

“Your highness,” the butterfly slapped me in the back, what the? “You should treated them like that, Your Highness! They my be a demon and you have a royal blood but when the contract signed between Madam and Lord Rufus, everyone is equal here. So, don’t look down at them!”

What is she talking about? Why am I being scolded? She misunderstood me!

“I’m not looking down at them, I was just–“

I was cut offed, “You called him not in the right mind, do you think that is not looking down?!”

This dumb woman making me bad here and reduce my braincells to zero.

I grabbed her collar, “I’m not looking down at him.”

She quiet down but she’s looking at me badly, she’s judging me deep down in my soul.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” I got annoyed so I pushed her.

“Stop looking at me like that!” she won’t budge even I shouted at her.

I reached my limit so I tried to make her close her eyes with my palm and the suddenly attack me from my side.
