“Before you lost consciousness after you cursed yourself, you let Asmodeus and his descendants be the ones to break your curse. The way to break it is just to disconnect the cursed circle. You gained consciousness if Asmodeus or any of his descendants is near you at a specified range but you can’t move or talk. Asmodeus and his descendants come here only once a year so, every time you see Asmodeus… a year already passed.”

A year…?

“You’re kidding, right?” It cannot be…

“No.”

“He’s not lying. You’ve been in that Mansion for hundreds of years.” said the Lady.

I thought it’s only for two and a half years…

Two and a half…then I have been on that throne for more than 500 years..

“After Asmodeus died, his descendants stop on coming. Leaving the mansion for 200 years and you.” Is that why I never woke up again until Rem and Rom arrived?

“Why did they stop on coming?” for 200 years, no one came. Isn’t it suspicious? Did something happen to them?

“They just don’t want to be stuck on a loop.”

“Loop…?”

“For the first hundred years, Asmodeus was alone taking care of you until he decided to have descendants. T–“

“Wait.”I cut him off.

This is confusing! How old exactly Shoes is?

“There’s something I don’t get it, How old exactly Shoe– I mean Asmodeus is?”

“A Thousand.”

“Oh okay. Wait…what?!” That’s already considered as an old man!

“Hmph! I’m older than him but you chose him first as your servant!” the lady. Older?! Then she’s also a thousand years old??

What about Calcifer?

I look at him and I think he got the message.

“Never ask a man for his age.” Then he snubbed at me.

Eh? This is the first time I heard that phrase from a man.

Never mind.

“What about me?” I asked. I’m referring to Ester.

“You’re hundreds…” Calcifer.

Ooohhh, so Ester is younger than them. How do they achieve this long life? I should ask for advice.

“Million.” My jaw dropped.

“A hundred million?! I’m literally the epitome of an old woman!” No wonder! She cursed herself! She lived too long!

“Close your jaw. A pegasus might get in.”Calcifer.

“A pegasus is too big to enter my mouth.”

“Hmm?” the lady.

“Back to the topic, When Asmodeus already have descendants, his body is slowly aging.”

“Hmm, the lady is older but why she still looks young?” this world is confusing…

“Asmodeus lives long because you have given him that power same as Lorelie. But, it has a condition… once that person has descendants, his body will start aging again.”

What kind of condition is that?! What the use of having a long life but don’t have a family to care for?

“Please continue.”

“He trained his descendants and made a book on how to take care of you before and after you wake up.” Isn’t this too much? Deciding the future of his descendants so that’s why when Asmodeus died, they stop coming because they don’t want to experience what their father’s and mother’s through. This what Calcifer meant, ‘Don’t want to stuck in the loop.’

“Then, what about Rem and Rom? Why did they come?” why did they come to the mansion and free me?

“I don’t know their reason.”

“Hmm…” I have a guess why Rem and Rom chose to follow me…I think it is have to do with their curse.

Ester is known to be powerful and they think that I am their only chance. But in their dismay, they think I lost my memories that’s why they push me to train and covered it up by saying that it is for saving the world.

This is only my hypothesis. But, if my hypothesis is correct… I will not hesitate to help them. I have no choice but to train now.

I will find a way to break their curse, I should at least have paid them for freeing me.

But first,

“Ms. Lady, can I go outside?” I acted cute in front of her.

I noticed that Ester is fond of this lady so I thought if I acted cute she might let me out.

“Kyah!” she hugged and squeezed me between her milkshake.

“Don’t do it again! It will give me a heart attack!”

“L–lady?” Her milkshake is soft that you don’t want to leave but I can’t breathe.

“I’m sorry!” she let go of me then I gasped for air. Surely, I will long for that smoothness.

“Ehem. So I was saying, it is impossible.” She said that before. Why is it impossible?

“Behind this gate is the enemies, you have to defeat them first but somewhat you don’t how to use your powers. You will be defeated in no time.” So, they are camping outside. Then how could I help Rom and Rem?

“But I need to find a doctor for Rem and Rom!” if I don’t find someone who can treat them they will be dead in no time!

“What about you Lady and Calcifer? Do you know any healing magic?” they looked at each other

“I don’t have that kind of power.” Calcifer .

I looked at the lady and her only reply is, “I’m sorry.”

“So, you can’t treat them…” I felt useless…what if I trained when they told me to, can I saved them? No, in that amount of time, it is not enough. I don’t know how strong the enemies are, fighting them in my current condition will be a laughing stock.

I should now dig their graves because their body will soon turn cold.

“But, you can.” I heard Calcifer said.

“What?” did I misheard?

“One of the blessings, given to you is healing magic.” A spark of hope flashing through me.

“So, I can save them!”

“Yes, all you need to do is to know how to use it.” But, how long that will take?

“They will be dead before I got to know how to use it!” Learning it will be useless if they’re dead.
