Energy.

Calcifer said that power is equal to energy. The stronger your energy, the stronger the power.

All people have energy but not all can use magic or power. Why?

He pulled out a glass quartz.

The glass quartz is where you get the particles of magic. You convert this on what magic you are compatible. The Kind of magic you can get is the same as the 12 High Beings or you can make your own.

Some cannot convert magic particles because their body cannot do so. The reason? I don’t know… Calcifer won’t tell me.

Why do glass quartz exist? Humans are sentient and sapient humanoid creatures who by default have no internal Magicule in their bodies.

The glass quartz didn’t exist since the beginning, it only appeared when in the midst of the battle with demons, years after Ester proclaimed as a Hero. He said that God woke up in his slumber for a minute and build the magic system.

So before that, Ester is the only human can use magic and she trained the humans only in physical strength, then when it appeared Ester along with Asmodeus learned and taught the people how to use it.

The humans has more advantage than the demons

He fixed the glass quartz in his hand then he did something that it made it glow.

If your body has energy and the glass quartz has magic. If you work it together, it could activate the magic.

“Let your energy flow and combine it with the glass quartz once it happened you will create fire.” A blazing fire appeared in his arm.

“Do I have to bring it with me all the time?”

“No. The Magicules already spread in air all over the world.” Is that so?

This world feels like the game I play in my world.

The quartz the source of the magic.

The God the creator of the game and the one who programmed.

The High Beings the co-founder of the game.

The Humans are the players.

The demons are the non-player character or NPC.

We have to complete the quest which is to save the world.

Why can’t this world just be normal?

Like close the gate of hell, like we did in our world so no demons can enter the human realm and close the third eye of the people so that they cannot feel the demon and just ignore it. So that, the more they ignore and not believe in it, it will go weaker and weaker then it will not hurt anyone.

Or…! Preach the word of God, aren’t they scared of God? I thought they are scared of holy stuff.

Well, that’s how our world works maybe it also works here.

Why can’t they just do the first option?

“Are you listening?” I’m out of my mind. I didn’t listen to Calcifer when he’s discussing.

“Hold this quartz and try to flow your energy.” Oh no! I don’t know how, I should better listen next time!

Energy…what is energy in the first place? Energy is the ability to do work. There’s also types of energy such as Mechanical energy, Thermal energy, Nuclear energy… and so on. Addition, the energy can be a Potential and Kinetic energy. Why did I mention this? The types of energy have this energy transformation, I only need this idea but I prolly need it after I’m done with Energy Transformation. Next, the potential energy is where you stored energy then Kinetic is where there’s movement.

First, I’m going to do the Energy transformation. Actually, I don’t know what energy feels like I’m just going to imagine that there’s something flowing in me then transfer it. Once, I did it…I’m going to keep on storing the energy in the quartz then the kinetic… how should I made a movement out of it? How did Calcifer made a fire…?

Huh?

I feel something heat in my palm. I only thought about fire then bang! It appeared.

“I did it! Calcifer.”

He clapped, “Good, if you didn’t get it for the first. It will be a disgrace.” Hah? I just remembered when Rem told me to use that ‘Phos’ magic.

Lucky, he didn’t saw it but his words leaves a mark here in my heart.

Hmm? Why did I have to use word 'Phos' when I can only just imagine it? I don’t want to asked Calcifer about because he might know about my failure. But…

“Calcifer, you see… I saw Rem using magic and she used magic words– I mean incantation for it to work. But while me, I only need imagination. How could that be?”

“Because she’s weak. No imagination.” That kind of harsh.

Eh? What about me? I used imagination, does that means that I’m strong?

“Then am I strong?”

“No, you can use imagination because Ester’s body have too much energy. Ester’s body is strong while you who possessed it, is not.”

He’s lying.

I examined him just like what I did to Rom. I know he’s lying and he’s hiding something.

“So, the weak used incantation while the strong can just used their imagination but except for me, I can use imagination but I’m weak.” I clarified.

“That’s correct.”

I can’t stop suspecting him. Can I really trust this guy?

“Next training.” He snatched away the quartz that is in my palm.

“Huh? Already?”

“I was expecting that you will reach a months on mastering the flow of your energy but I guess…I was wrong. I think I have to go hard on you.”

Eh? Hahh!

“Come with me.” I followed him into the woods. Where are we going?

We arrived in an open area, that’s full of green grass.

It’s already afternoon but it’s cloudy so therefore, is not that hot.

“I want you to stay here for a month. Do not come back in the Mansion until it ends.” Calcifer, you’ve been surprising me these days to the point that I don’t like it anymore. I hate you!

“What am I going to do here? What about food?!” Is he staying with me? Where should I sleep? What am I going to do here in one month?!

“Try to survive and learn about healing magic. About the food? Just pick up the grass and chew it.” What does he think of me? A cow?? Isn’t he going to teach me about healing magic?? I can imagine myself mimicking the sound of a ;cow.

Moo! Ah! That’s bad news.

I’ll be turned into a cow than a healer!

“I don’t know where to start!”

A book appeared in his hand and throw it at me.

Isn’t this Rom and Rem Great Grandfather’s book. Asmodeus’s book.

“You’ve been given the Blessing of Knowledge. Surely, you can learn on your own just by reading that book “

Then, he left.

He didn’t even bring me some spare clothes to wear.

I took cover under the branches of the tree.

I'm going to stay here for a month, I sighed.

I should gather some foods and branches to make; shelter and fire.

As I gathered the stuff I need…I felt like someone is eyeing on me so, to clear my doubts I always looked back at my back to see if there’s something but there's nothing there. Is it just my imagination?

I'm at the center of the open area, I felt safer if I'm away at the woods. I pull out some grass so that if I made a fire it won’t catch.

I made a small shelter and a fire. I sat on the ground and looked at the foods that I gather.

Is this edible? It’s look like a ball of water but its seed is glowing yellow. The smell is sweet and I saw that a kind of bird pecking at this. So, I think it is save to eat.

Thankfully, there’s a river and I was able to get some water. To avoid any bacteria, I need to heat the water that I got from the river.

I remembered the book of Asmodeus. Maybe, if I read I could get information on how to survive.

I opened the first page and revealed the portrait of Ester. I’m not Ester but I felt the second-hand embarrassment. How many people did see this and I hope this is the only book there is.

The second age there’s a font that say ‘How to take care of our Queen’ and he’s referring to Ester. Next is… a thousands words of essay on the said font.

For example, the temperature of the bath, favorite food, combing the hair, hairstyle, dresses and others. How much time did Shoes spend to know this much about Ester?? Well, he is Ester's servant. Of course, he have to know this much and passed it on the next servant. But still! It's embarrassing!

I will just skip this part and move on to, ‘How to fight.’

What Calcifer said a while ago are also mentioned here. There's also explanation of different kind of magic and how to use it. The blessing that Ester was given was the same as the magic system so it was easy for them to study it and taught the other humans how to use it.

Wow…all I can think about is, how amazing this is.

I found myself in the page of Wisdom and Knowledge magic. This magic was inspired by Ches, God of Wisdom and Knowledge.

So, Ches is the name of the God that gave the Blessing of Knowledge to Ester.

It is stated here the different ways to use it. I have to try this magic, ‘No need to read'. Amazing, Isn't it? If I were to have this in my past world, I will be called a genius.

The ‘No need to read magic' hold the book and imagine that you are scanning all the pages. All information on that book will be process in your mind and you will remember every bit of it.

I need to try this! It will take me days if I keep on reading this.

I positioned myself comfortably but a rock keeps on poking my bottoms.

I followed the steps.

A glowing light surrounds the book and scanned the pages, as it was scanning, words enters in my mind and formed sentences. Then, it’s done.

I learned many things. Suddenly, I just know how to fight and use magic also to take care of Ester. I don't know how to omit that part to be learned before using the ‘No need to read magic.’

This Knowledge Blessing is literally a cheat.

I also learned the names of the 12 High Beings and also the names of the descendants of Shoes who took care of me when I'm still under the curse. The names were written in the last part of the book.

And, it's been bothering me. I thought it's just my imagination but there's really something keeps on eyeing on me.

That's why I use the Track magic and I was right there's something eyeing on me.

There's 20 of them.

They came out as soon as the moon shined at them. So, they are waiting for nighttime to attack me ha.

A Garm, a ragged wolf-like structure that have blood-stained in his fur. It was stated in the book that this beast is fierce and smart.

Calcifer is not joking, he really planned to make it hard it for me.

I have no choice, this is either survive or die. Besides, this could be a great opportunity for me to use what I just now learned.

They run freely around me like intimidating me of how many of them are there.

Saliva are dripping in the corner of their mouths and snarling at me to scare me.

I remained calm, if I let my emotion control me, I will never win this fight.
