Chapter 26

Ester POV.

“You…you’re moon.”

The dream that I just have, he was there. If I’m not wrong, I am the one using his body. I saw his reflection when he stuck the sword in his stomach.

Is it really just a dream? Or did I see their past through a dream?

“I hate you.” His eyes met mine and his brows are wrinkled, he is angry…to me?

“Boy, what did I do wrong for you to hate me?” Don’t get the wrong idea, I’m not the type to fight with a kid. Knowing this boy hating me wouldn’t let me sleep tonight so, I have to fix this right now.

“You left me!” If this boy is my son, he surely received a spank later for yelling at me.

Before, I confront this boy. First, let’s connect the dots.

This boy in front of me is Moonshadow, apparently he is dead because he committed suicide. What is the cause of his suicide? It got to do with Ester’s curse. And, he got issues, he can’t accept that Ester cursed herself and left him alone.

He doesn’t know that I am not Ester and since I’m using her body he pointed all his anger at me.

As he saying those, he raised his hand and flowers starting to bloom everywhere.

I inhale the toxin and it sting my body. The pain is not that much hurt since I can now use my healing magic.

I remember that I… oh right! I passed out in the middle of the trial and I’m here with Moonshadow.

Moonshadow is a child. I thought he was a pet because who in the right mind to name their child as Moonshadow unless they are a fool. So,

Is this hell? No, it can’t be since it just the two of us. I have seen this happening in anime and all I can think about is, this is Moonshadow’s dimension of despair. He cannot rest since he died with despair in his heart for Ester.

He have the Holy Treasure therefore I have no choice but to baby him.

I tried to approach him but… he pulled out the sword in his stomach and swing at me.

Did he just pulled out the sword in his stomach?? I have much to do than to baby him.

He non-stop swinging his sword at me.

This guy really hates me.

I catch the blade of his sword with my hand that I got from training with Calcifer and when I was about to steal it from him but he twist it, that got my palm hit the sharp end then forced his way out.

I thought that my palm got sliced but when I look at it, there’s nothing but I’m sure that I felt it bleeds. What just happened?

I use a skill ‘All see’ to see the flow of magic. The sword, there’s magic flowing out of it. Does that mean the sword is the Holy Treasure? It must be since the wound in my palm heals.

Then, my goal is to steal the sword and get myself out of here by pierce the sword in my body since it can heal then my body in the real world will heal as well and wake me up.

Moon is useless for me so I will leave him behind here.

How can I steal the sword from him? He is so good at swordsmanship!

I can only fight him with my bare hands and magic

He swing his sword at me again.

I can barely see his movement and I can only defense myself.

I need to take his guard off.

I set all the flowers in fire.

“Ugh!” he shouted.

“Stop!” so, the fire can hurt him.

I immediately steal the sword and right now it is in my hand.

I’m ready to pierce myself.

“Are you going to leave me again?” he cried.

“Who wouldn’t if you were trying to kill them!” this boy is crazy! Asking me question when he knows the answer.

“Here you go again leaving me behind without saying.” He sobbed. Before, he was angry now tried to kill me but now, he is crying like a baby.

“Okay then, I will say Goodbye is that enough?” Crazy Ester, putting herself in cursing without saying goodbyes.

He bursted.

What? What does he want? Doesn’t he wanted me to say goodbye?

I sighed.

I hate dealing kids.

I pat his head and says, “I’m back and alive so stop crying.” Eventually, he stopped and sobbed again but this time I can feel that he is delighted.

“Welcome back.” He smiled widely.

This kid remind me of someone that I don’t want to remember.

His body started to brighten. Is he going back to the light?

“Thank you for coming back. See you soon.”

He disappeared with a bright smile in his face.

It’s done and it is time to go.

Huh? Where is the sword? It was just in my hand where did it go?

How could I get out of here?!

Should I pierce my body before Moon disappeared?! No one told me about this!

I heard someone coughing.

“Calcifer! I swear in the name of my God, I will come back for you if my child die here!”

Are they quarreling again?

Can’t they just both shut up and let me sleep.

“Ugh! Too noisy!” I got up because I can’t take it anymore. They are hurting my ears.

“Why are you two always quarrel like lovers?! Go get a room!”

I didn’t heard anything from them and I was closing my eyes while saying those so I don’t know what their reactions.

As I looked at them, there was shock in their eyes.

Lorelie is tearing up and hug me.

“Child, you’re alive!”

Oh right, I was in the middle of claiming the Holy Treasure.

“Yes, I am but I didn’t get the Holy Treasure.” The sword disappeared before I got the chance to go back. How I wish that I pierce myself before the sword disappeared.

“It’s okay, we will find another way to save Rem and Rom.” Lorelie said.

I noticed that she is sweating a lot. What’s happening to her?

“Lady, are you alright?” I asked her.

“I’m alright it’s just the toxin, I can endure it.” I looked around and the toxins is still here but I’m not feeling the pain anymore.

“Calcifer, bring down the barrier.”

“We have to wait till morning.” He is right. It is dangerous if we take down the barrier now, it will spread all over.

“Lady, just wait a little longer.” She is getting weaker and weaker.

“I’m glad you’re alright.” She said to me. I didn’t expect for to come at me…how long did she stays inside?

The toxins is more powerful than I thought even the lady got affected by it.

It’s not yet morning but the surrounding got clearer and clearer. The toxins is slowly dissapearing…

Calcifer also noticed it. When it’s all gone, he take down the barrier.

We got out.

Sir Alpha carried Lorelie back to the mansion.

“You did it.” He said while looking behind my back.

I was about to look what he meant but I lost consciousness. That’s right, it’s been a month since I last slept.
