Chapter 75

“Lucios, Dalia invited in the Castle.”

I am now seated on the sofa with Moon under me. Imagine, instead of sofa…I am sitting on Moon.

“Heavy…” he complained.

“Shh…”

“If you’re going to visit in the Castle just be careful of the King.” Lucios advised.

“Why? What’s up with the King?” Is the King a fujoshi too? Just like Dalia.

“Well, the King is a clever man and if he doesn’t like you. You cannot step in the Castle again.”

Scary…I’ll take that in mind and avoid the King at all cost.

“It's past midnight, aren’t you going to sleep?” he wondered.

“We don’t sleep.” I crossed my arms and legs then look like I am intimidating.

“Sleep is for the weak!” Moon and fist bump the air.

“Well, I am weak so I am going to sleep. Don’t make noise, all right?” He said and yawned.

He walks away with a shoulder in dropped.

“Moon, you awake?”

“What kind of question is that? We don’t sleep, remember?”

Oh right, what a stupid question. Hahaha!

“Is your wound healed, already?” he was helping the others in the In’n and he cut himself so that he can heal them.

“of course, it's already healed. What do you think I am? A weak?”

“I didn’t say anything of you being weak, you’re the one saying that.” I slap his back and he reacted.

“Ouch! You know that you slap is different from human!”

“I know that, that’s why I slap you!” I laughed.

Someone entered through the door and it was Virgil in his pajamas.

“Do you sleep, Virgil?” That’s odd.

“My power doesn’t come from you like Moon and Lorelie.” He grumpily said.

“Where?” I am not Ester so I don’t know and he won’t suspect it cause he was told that I lost my memories.

“I eat the fruit of Rebis.” He also sat down on the sofa with Moon also under him. “I am like a human but powerful. I need to eat and sleep as any human does. In Moon, Lorelie, and Alpha situation, you made them powerful but the cost of it was being their human. You cursed them not to have descendants and if they do, they will start aging. You stole their happiness to have a family on their own.”

I, too. Think that Ester crosses the line there. I’m not Ester but I’m still affected by what she said cause I’ve taken responsible for Ester's actions.

“Is that the reason you left? Because of my selfishness.”

He shakes his head.

“I left because you are weak.”

Ouch, that hurts. If Ester is weak what about me that still need to learn a lot of things

If Ester is weak then I am weak-weak.

I laughed in my mind with my own joke.

“You let yourself be cursed by the High Beings, you lost your way for being the Hero and you become mad. That’s why I left you.”

Hmm, he’s someone too, who believes what he heard.

Easter you are surrounded by people who cannot trust you so well. Is that why the reason you got mad is that no one listens to you?

“Meow…” the cat purred at me.

“Then, why did you want to come back?” If she thinks I’m weak then why is he coming back.

“I didn’t come back for you. I’m going back for Lorelie.”

Why does it sound like I’m the mistress of the love between Lorelie and Virgil??

“Sorry, Bro. I didn’t think a single thing about you coming back for me. I would be happy if you said you're going back for the Primus.”

I don’t think Virgil is a friend that you can trust that will never leave you behind.

If I told him the truth about Ester being the one who curse herself, there will no change in what he thinks. He’ll just think that Ester is more worst than being called weak.

But, why Lorelie? Why would she come back for Lorelie?? If what I’m thinking is true then I don’t want Virgil for Lorelie. She’ll just hurt Lorelie! No! He’ll leave if Lorelie is weak!

“Moon, are you still there? Why are you being quiet? Virgil is bullying me.”

“Y-you two are heavy…I can’t breathe.”

We stand up from being seated.

“Why did you also sit in the back Moon? I am the only one who can do it.”

“It is not my fault that he is lying in MY SOFA.”

“Is this how you treat your visitors?”

“Is this how you treat the owner of the house?”

“Lucios is the owner.”

“I owned this.”

“Lucios said ‘My House’ a while ago.”

“Ughh… you two are so noisy.” Moon interrupted.

Jankik POV.

I was heading to the gate of hell when something bump me. I was thrown to the ground because of how hard it bumped me.

“What the…hell?” I can’t believe what I am seeing right now. I was about to scold and shout the reason that I am on the ground but my mind change when I know who is it.

“What are you doing here, 7th?”

She is in bad condition but she is still alive.

She is unconscious.

I carried her in my back and move faster than before.

Why did she get this injury? How can the 7th in this condition?

I have to move faster.

Ester POV.

“Are sure you’ll be alright here?” Lucios worriedly asked.

“Yup!”

I told Lucios to come with me but he can’t since of the way he dresses and Moon doesn’t want to come because we might make fun of him when Lucios is not around.

Well, how clever of him to think like that cause there’s a possibility that we might do it to him too.

“Meow…” The cat has been purring his face in my feet for a while now.

“Do you want to come?”

“Meow…! Meow!” I giggled at how cute the cat is.

“All right.” I actually don’t like cats but she’s different I think.

“West!” Dalia was running toward us.

“Sorry, I am late.” She apologizes. “Shall we?”

“Let’s go.”

I said my goodbye to Lucios, “Goodbye Lucios.”

“Goodbye.”

We entered the gate to the private sector.

The Castle is located in the center of the private sector.

We were using a carriage on going there.

The houses in the private section are big and everyone here is wearing formal attire.

What a good life in the private section.

We traveled for 1 hour, the houses here have a big property just by going to the Castle and it’s not traffic, it took us one hour to get there.

My butt hurts.

“Is your butt don’t hurt from sitting, Dalia?”

I rubbed my butt to lose the pain.

“Nope, I’m used to sitting in the carriage for days that my butt don’t her anymore if we traveled for months.”

How cruel is your life that you always sit on the carriage for days?

We entered a Golden gate and passed through a large backyard that the grass has been trimmed and a fountain in the center.

“Wow…” I am amazed at how big the place is and how lucky to be a princess.

Why do I come here as a villain though and not a princess?

Calcifer always ruining my life.

The carriage door opens and a butler and a maid was waiting outside.

Dalia step out first and I followed.

This is embarrassing.

When my Kingdom is vast, I’ll put maid and butler in my mansion but the thing is, I am the kind of person that will get guilty if I made my co-human as a maid.

Everyone bowed to Dalia, she walks in front and while me, is in her back.

She noticed that I am not walking beside her so she stopped and waited.

She eyed me to walk beside her.

The maid are looking at me.

It was embarrassing so I shake my head but Dalia, grab me and let me walk beside her.

I heard the gasp of the maids and butlers.

This is embarrassing!

Dalia stop torturing me.

We arrived in her room.

“Daliaa, you didn’t tell me that you will be greeted by maids and butlers. It was embarrassing to walk beside you!”

I covered my face cause I think I’ll explode from embarrassment.

“Should I remove the maids and butlers so that you can walk beside me?”

Removed? Why do I feel that it’s a bad word for the maids and butlers?

“No! Don’t remove them.”

Is this the feeling if you have a rich friend? I should get used to it cause I’ll also be visiting the neighborhood kingdoms.

Third Person POV.

In the throne room, the King of Marsh Ao Kingdom was seated on his golden throne.

Still, Ester’s throne cannot be compared to his.

A butler entered the throne room.

“State your business.”

“The Princess invited a visitor.”

The King has aroused from his tedious state.

“Finally, we can have a next heir. Where is this young man?”

The King raised and was about to walk out in the Throne room.

“It’s not a man, Your Highness.”

The King stopped.

“Are you saying she partnered herself with a half-breed?!”

“It’s a girl, Your Highness…and the Princess let her walk beside her.”

The King was in shock, she never thought her child would choose the right turn on her way.

“A girl! I never taught that child to become a Pedophile!”

“You got it wrong again, Your highness. The girl is the same age as the Princess.” The butler clarified.

“Why you didn’t say so in the first place?!”

King can’t believe that the first visitor of the Princess will be a woman.

Is his child going to be a lesbian? He thought.

The Heir shouldn’t be like that or else… the title will be moved to her brother.

“Where are they?” the King asked.

“What are you going to do, Your Highness?”

“Tell me where they are.” The King ordered and the butler trembles.

Ester POV.

“What are we going to do?”

The Castle is big, we need a map or a guide that knows this place very well, so that we can get there in time to our destination.

“First, we should go to the garden. Let’s go eat there first.”

Right… she doesn’t know that food is unnecessary for me but if it’s the way we can have fun. I’ll do it…it’s the food that I came here in the first place.

Food might be unnecessary for me but I can still taste them and have fun with them.

“Let’s go.”

I nod.

We head to the garden and there is this small cottage where the food is already on the table.

I can smell from here the delicious smell of the food.

Hmm…yum.

The maid help us with the chair and we sat down.

I place the napkin in my lap so that the spilled food won’t get on my clothes.

They poured us some drinks, the first serve is the appetizer.

As I look at Dalia eat, she was elegant.

Next is the main dish.

Then, lastly the dessert.

I was able to finish it fast.

They poured us some tea and we started exchanging words.

Third Person POV.

“Is that the girl? Her guest?”

The King was looking at them in the distance.

“Your Highness…? That’s dangerous.”

The King was hiding behind the tree with a rifle in his hand which was invented by Dalia.

“Your Highness, they are just friends.” The Butler trying to explain.

“I have to make sure.” The King pointed his rifle to Ester and was about to trigger it when Ester look in their direction.

Ester wasn’t able to catch them since the King and the butler were able to hide before they got caught.

“Do you think she saw us?” asked the King to the butler.

“No, Your Highness.” The butler answered.

“That was close, I never thought that her girlfriend is keen.”

“She is just a friend, Your Highness.” The Butler tried to explain again but the King never listen and continue to spy on his daughter.
