Chapter 19

1080 Words

“You rest; I’ll go out for a bit.” Leonard walked straight out of the house. “You bastard. I’m really angry to death. How can I raise this bastard?" Mr. Roberts kept patting his chest. Leonard sat in the car, lighting a cigarette, thinking about the child he had originally adopted. He didn't think that the consequences would be so serious. He wanted his parents to have more fun in their old age, so he thought that adopting this child would make them very happy. But in the end, why did his father object to him adopting Aaron like that? If it affected the company's future inheritance rights, wouldn't it be better not to let Aaron participate in the company? What was his father thinking? The more Leonard thought about it, the more annoyed he became. He put out his cigarette and drove away.
