William POV
My alarm blared annoyingly before I smacked it and it silenced,I had setted it but woke up before it went off.I removed my sleeping attire and tired a towel on my waist.I slightly opened my bedroom door and peeped before slamming it shut as a mischievous smile swept across my face.
I took my iPhone 11 and scrolled to my play list and played 'sorry'

The music blasted as I merry danced all the way to the bathroom,I opened the shower as the cold water flowed to my skin making me shiver(I love cold showers).
The music was now at the c****x and I had forgotten my cover as I sang on the top of my lungs (this may draw attention to me).I was right as a 'kong ,Kong 'sound embraced my ears as my mum strode upstairs to my room.
Oh my God(this ain't good ,am always strict and this may blow my cover).I shuffled desperately blind walking to search my phone and turn it off when I stumbled and fall flat on my stomach.
Some soap got in my eye and I yelled unwillingly (damn this)
Mother:William is everything okay
I suppressed the yells still on my throat and force a reply.
Me:Yes mum am okay
My mum doesn't believe me and her persistent is nagging me.
Mother:Are you sure dear,I heard you screaming
At that point the frustration has driven me to the edge and I almost yell at her.
Me:am fine mum
I finally managed to get back on my feet as I pour some water on my eyes to relieve the pain.
Mother :Your breakfast is ready ,we are waiting for you downstairs.
My mum says before the Kong Kong noises fades and I manage a relief sigh.Could she have heard me singing Justin Bieber song ?

I slid in a jean trouser and a black T-shirt with an inscription 'Bad boy anthem 'on it,I finish with a black leather jacket before looking myself at the mirror,I look like some gangster and I don't know what the people downstairs will say about it.
Four people are sitting around the dining table and they widened their eyes with shock as I strut towards them.Caine face is contorted with a kinda face that says 'are you for real'
Phoebe's face is mischievous while Mr and Mrs Johnson faces is hard to explain,I greet them before sitting next to Phoebe who throw me a mischievous grin.
I munch my breakfast as my dad and mum stares at me like a horror movie,it's not their fault as they have never seen me like that.

My name is William Johnson,son to Mr and Mrs Johnson,I have two siblings, Phoebe and Caine.Our family is one of the richest with most of our income surfacing from my dad's multibillion company 'Evary tech limited 'of which am the C.E.O.
My dad handed me leadership of the company after he succumbed to a rare illness and had to step down.I was in college by then studying economis(my dad choose the course for me).
The companies duties had exhausted me hence I became a shadow of myself,I was rarely joking and I could smile only when it suited me,it was inevitable since my families business all landed to a twenty year old all of a sudden and my family became my responsibility.Hence I had no time for the outside world.

So when I walked out today dressed in jeans and a bad boy t-shirt it raised eyebrows.
Mum:What's the occasion ,I've never seen you like this
Me: Fletcher invited me at his house for a baby shower
Dad:Is he the same Fletcher you went to high school with?
Me:(nods)yeah it's him
Dad:(smirk)He is a very organized young man
Phoebe:I bet he will get another kid before will even dare approach a girl
Me:(smirking)don't start Phoebe
Phoebe:(grinning )I saw Caine with a girl yesterday but with you, you can't even maintain eye contact with a girl.
Phoebe says as he motioned to Caine who was busy typing his phone , Caine is unaware that the whole family is staring at him but then notice the silence ,he looks up mischievously with puppy eyes as mum began her interogations.
I finish my breakfast and say a good bye before walking to the parking at the basement,I scanned the cars lining up as I anticipate which one to use.
My first thought is to use the black SUV but then I figure am not going on a bussines occasion and hence I thought it looks too official hence I go for the red Jeep assuming the other sports cars since it will look like am for a show off.
After a twenty minutes drive I pulls over at Fletcher apartment as the butler opens the gate for me,I drive parking besides other cars as I get out smilling.
Fletcher who was with Anna at the door welcoming guests noticed me and break from them walking towards me all smiles .
Fletcher :Am glad you made it buddy
Me: How can I miss my godson baby shower
I greet back as we engage in a manly hug before walking towards the other guest introducing me .Anna smiles on seeing me and I could tell she was very happy that I accepted the invite.We had schooled in the same school since high school and our friendship was very profound.

The party is great and I diseange from the other guests as I walks away,my eyes caught something unusual at some distance and I decided to investigate as I saw a tall man staring at me.
I became unable to look away as something pulls me towards him,I follow him blindly and ended up colliding with a body as a woman yelps stumbling almost falling but I manage to hold her waist and stabling her as our eyes come in contact .
Me:Am sorry I wasn't looking where I was going
I apologise as the lady straighten her vintage dress before offering her own apology.
Her:It's not your fault I was also occupied with something hence I didn't saw you coming
She says,she keeps quite after noticing I was staring.
Her:Excuse me
She says as she walks away outside the house .Fletcher taps my shoulder and an evil smile plays at his lips.
Fletcher :who was she
Me: wanted to ask you the same question
Fletcher :why?, you like her?(his smile widens)
Me:(smirking )No!,I noticed something weird with her
Fletcher :(furrowing his brows)What was it
Me:(scratching my head)I didn't know but I sensed something dark and hollow about how she looked at me
Fletcher :Maybe she likes you?
Me:(scowls) Come on dude , you know am not the dating type.
Fletcher then takes me to the living room where the other guests are and I noticed the man from earlier staring at me.I flinched my eyes severally and he smiles blankly.
I turned my attention from him as the main part of the baby shower commence.

The party soon ends and Fletcher escort me to my Jeep as we parted,I take my keys and ignites the car before taking off.I opened the car music system and starts bouncing my head to the music .
Unknown voice:Are you wondering who I am
A voice says in my head before I turn my face and stares at the man who was stalking me at the party,his face is darker and he glares at me,his eyes are in a brown shade near to red and as he smiles I noticed his eyes shifting to red.
Unknown guy:We have been looking for you for sometime now
He says before strangling me from the back as I gasp for air,the car starts to swerve sideways as I struggle with the wheel.My lungs starts running out of air and my vision becomes blur before I let the steering wheel alone and we crash into a tree and I pass out.
