I gasped as I looked at him in surprise.
Did I hear him right? He just asked me to marry him, didn’t he?
I stare at him with my mouth open like an i***t, unable to form any response. It was just too damn unexpected.
He clears his throat and says “If you haven’t changed your mind about your offer, I’d like to take you up on it. You can totally say no. I will not hold it against you”
