It was a very exhausting experience that I hurriedly freshened up, however before I was done it was evening. I descended the grand staircase, the heels of my shoes clicking softly against the polished wood as the light from the chandeliers illuminated the hall. My hair, now loose from the shower, brushed against my back, and I could feel the faint coolness of the air settling into my skin. Dinner was soon to be served, and I was eager to enjoy a meal in my father’s company.
