9 When Star Goes Supernova Alex had insane reflexes. Those reflexes and some minor control-freak tendencies meant I always let him drive. He was also viciously fast with a sword and had caught me mid-fall on at least one occasion, maybe more. My reflexes weren’t anything out of the ordinary. Not usually. But occasionally my vamp speed made an appearance, always in times of crisis or high stress.
