My brother and I had felt a change in our territory last night we ordered our warriors to patrol the border and when they came back with nothing we sent our beta Joshua to investigate something definitely had changed in the atmosphere my wolf Cain had become restless and apparently so had my brothers wolf Roman so we went on run

Searching for the unknown

While running I playfully nipped at my brothers heels earning a playful growl from him he whipped around and growled daringly saying “bring it”

We started circling each other

Barking and growling

Egging each other on

Xavier was the first to make a move he lunged at me sweeping me off my paws i bit and scratched as he pinned me

As soon as he got distracted in his celebrating I threw him off with my hind legs and jumped on top of him pinning him to the ground but stopping as soon as I heard Josh through the mind-link saying

“Alpha’s I found a she-wolf rouge at the eastern side of the border”

I mind linked him back telling him to put her in our office till we get back then I started running towards the pack house with Xavier on my tail

Xavier’s Pov

As soon as we arrived at the packhouse we shifted back into our human forms

Putting on our pants and dress shirt we walked to our shared office, standing outside our door I opened it and that’s when that delicious smell hit me

It smelled like lavender and vanilla

The she-wolf whom was distracted by our many books turned around, her eyes going wide is she jumped startled at our sudden appearance, as she opened her mouth partly I heard her breath hitch.

She was the definition of beautiful

Her long raven hair cascading down to her hips, her icey blue eyes with abnormal red rings around her pupils, And goddess those full, plump, begging to be kissed lips

I was in awe

That’s when Xander and I said in unison

“Mine!”

Our little mate responded softly almost purring

“Yours”

My chest bloomed with pride, nine years, we waited nine years for this gorgeous being and now she's all ours
