A friendly advice

1466 Words
I was so angry I did not know what to do, angry and hurt, I drove my horse Thunder as hard as he could over the land until I arrived at my dear friend Dame Anastasia’s cosy country house. I stopped before the door jumping down from Thunder, i patted his jet-black side, he was a jet-black, he was a mix of Frieser, Shire and Arabic, making him a perfect combination of speed, stamina and with quit a good temperament. I was the only one who could ride him, and the could get quite nasty if the workers in the stables was not one their toes around him. But with me he was a gently as a butterfly, I was in the middle of securing Thunders reins to the dark metal railing that lead up to the front door when Anastasia’s butler Jenkins, a large dark man with a scar down his right eyes came out “your Grace, Dame Anastasia is waiting for you inside the living room”. I nodded “yes” and then i followed him inside and further into my friend’s cosy living room, it was a small room with two off-white sofas, a fireplace made by red bricks and a lovely glass sofa table with a vase full og pink and red roses. As always this place smelled slightly of lavender making my hole body relax, Dame Anastasia was sitting on one of the sofa she got up when she saw “that was an unusual early visit”. I could feel tears begin to fall down “Ana!” I cried, Ana put her arms out and I walked right into her embrace, “ssh what’s wrong dear?” she asked. I sniffled and she gave me a very nice silk handkerchief, I took an began driving my eyes, “it’s terrible Adrian’s mother has been with us for over a month now and we don’t do anything except fighting, he doesn’t even sleep in same room as me anymore”. My friend frowned her fine dark blonde brows “oh dear that’s not good”, I shook my head and she urged me to sit down, “now this really does call for some tea and maybe some breakfast?”. I shook my head “I really don’t feel hungry, and my head hurts”, she nodded but still went toward the door leading to the hallway, she came inside again and walked over to me. Anastasia was a pretty woman, with a perfect hourglass figure and elegant movements, she had a tailored dark purple satin dress on that hung around her beautifully curves. She put a wavy blonde lock behind her ear and sat down, “now tell me exactly what have been happening”, now was she was ready I felt a bit embarrassed. “how was your trip?” I asked, my friend smiled devilish “nice try, I was lovely I was chasing a double agent all the way over to Moscow only to find out that the double agent had is her in Britain, now talk dear”. I sighed and then I told her about the past weeks and about the evil dragon asking my husband to divorce me or get a mistress, and about Misha and the fact that they spoil her rotten. I shook my head “I mean really she literally sits on Adrian’s lap everyday, he hand feed her, even my mother-in-law is nice to her! I don’t know what to do”. I hid my face in my hands, Ana patted my back, “where did he find this girl?”, I drove my right hand across my face “I don’t know he found her injured in the woods, in our woods”. My friend got quiet “how old is she?”, I looked up “well she looks about 20 years old”, “and how does she look?”. I leaned back against the sofa “well, petite body, around 5’2” in height, long platinum blonde hair, light skin, plump lips, big light green eyes, she looks cute and pretty like a doll”. “aha” my friend said, I looked at her, she had thoughtful expression on her face, I did not like that face it usually wasn’t good when she had that. But Jenkins came into the room with a tray, he put it down and began placing all the items on the table, then he was pouring tea into the cups, “thank you Jenkins” Ana said, Jenkins nodded before making his way out the door. I sighed and took the teacup Ana gave me, “we British always solve everything after a good cup of tea” she said, I smirked “yes it does have something over it, doesn’t it”. I was not British I was from Wales, but my parents always went to the teapot when there was a problem too. I sighed and then took one of the cucumber sandwiches Jenkins had left on a plate, suddenly my headaches wasn’t that bad anymore. We said for some time and discussed more light things like our horses and this lovely sandwich, it made me relax. So much that I forgot I was upset, Ana suddenly put her hand on my knee “dear back to the more serious thing, do you want a divorce?”. I shook my head “no of course not I love Adrian”, she tilted her head I know but you look miserable and I don’t like seeing you like that”. I sighed I don’t know what to do, he seems like he care about me, then we fight and then we make up, then he brings this bloody girl in, i don’t know what to do anymore”. Anastasia hesitated for a second “well if I may come with an advice”, I nodded “please do, I am beginning to be desperate. She nodded “well considering this is from someone who have never been in anything other than casual relationships. I would think you should take a look at who were you when your husband fell in love with you, and are you still that same person?”. Anastasia’s amethyst eyes was calm and serious when she stared into my eyes, I smiled “thank you my friend”, she smiled back “always at you service dear”. I glanced at the watch over her fireplace and sighed “guess I have to go home again, it is nearly lunch” I said displeased. Ana smiled “you may stay. I shook my head “no I better get going you just gave me a lot to think about”, Anastasia got up and so did I, she followed me outside where Thunder was standing, he was beginning to get a bit restless. I smiled at him “hello Love”, Thunder’s black head turned toward me when I went over to him, I patted his neck, that scoundrel nibbled gently at my shoulder “sorry did I make you wait long?”. Ana giggled “you are talking to your house like he is a cute little puppy”, I smirked “he is cute, he is just not so little”, Ana looked at my almost 6’6” high horse “no he is definitely not little”. I gave my friend a hug “I will see you later”, she nodded “yes and have a safe trip back”, I put my foot in the stirring iron and swung my leg up so I was sitting on the seat. I waved a Ana before steering my lovely horse away form her house. I let him get free reins while I speculated Ana was right I was not the same person as before, before I was a bit on the wild side, stubborn, forcefully and did not let anyone try to intimidate me. I shook my head that was not the person I was now, and then there was the problem with my wolf, maybe I should call my mother, she problem knew someone who could help with that, but first I had to go home. I took a deep breath I took the reins in my hands “come along Thunder let’s go home and kick some bottoms”, Thunder gave a loud neigh from his mouth and then I went over in a fast sprint, I laughed enjoying the wind in my hair...
