I choked on my food and would have swallowed the spoon if not for my gaggling reflexes.
“What?” Aaron asked in disbelief with his surprise only mirroring my own.
“We'll be going to Paris for our honeymoon.” Mr Donovan repeated.
“You guys will have to stay together for a while.” Mom smiled. “I know you'll use that time to bond even more.”
I didn't like the way her eyes flickered in my direction when she said this.
“Is this really necessary?” Aaron argued. “I mean, we don't really need to be together, do we?” He glared at me as if I were the one making this decision.
