Amy's POV
“What did he say?” I asked tentatively.
“Said you've got a special treat for us both tonight.” Hendry or whatever the f**k was his name repeated with a stupid grin on his face.
I couldn't believe that Stuart would go on telling Hendry something like that, but Stuart himself wasn't home so there was no way I was even letting Hendry into the house.
“Stuart isn't home,” I said curtly. “He won't be home for a while now. I really don't know why he went and told you something like that, though, but it ain't happening.”
Hendry looked like his Christmas plans had been cancelled but that wasn't my problem. I was eager to see him leave and wasn't ready to see him ever again.
“Now that's a shame..” He sighed. “I was really looking forward to that.”
