I was really disturbed but also happy that with my sister's help, we had waylaid our father, distracted him a little bit while we tidied the house as best as we could, but I feared I wasn't out of the danger zone just yet.
Days had gone by since the house party that turned to a disaster and I hadn't gotten the chance to talk to Amy. She began to keep a low profile at school and would hurry off immediately when she realized that I was closing in on her.
