As Bonnie's van pulled up to the front of JJ Entertainment, the fans came swarming from all directions, calling out her name and crowding around her. "Bonnie, my love!" one fan cried out. The others soon followed, and Bonnie found herself being pushed and shoved by the eager crowd. "Go inside and get a guard!" Jane shouted to Tania, who nodded and dashed into the building. Bonnie regretted not having her bodyguards with her - this was becoming dangerous. Tania soon returned with a hefty guard in tow, who quickly began to push the crowd away, making a path for Bonnie to get inside. "What's gotten into them today?" Tania asked, slightly out of breath. "Who thought it would be a good idea to fire the bodyguards?" Jane shot back, her voice tinged with frustration. "Hey, don't look at me," Bonnie protested. "I thought you would be able to handle the crowd, seeing as you're my manager. And Tania is the assistant, too - she should be able to help out." Jane shook her head, clearly exasperated. "I'm a manager, not a bodyguard. How do you expect me to fend off a crowd of crazed fans on my own?" Bonnie crossed her arms. "Fine, but you could have at least warned me that it would be this bad." "Sorry, I didn't realize it would be so crazy," Tania apologized, still a little breathless. "Are you okay?" Bonnie nodded. "I'm fine, just annoyed." She took a deep breath and tried to compose herself. "Let's just get this meeting over with and leave here." Entering the CEO's office, Bonnie was relieved to see a chair waiting for her, and she sank into it gratefully. Jane and Tania remained standing by the door. "Bonnie, my favorite star at JJ! I'm so proud of you - you made John Smith fall head over heels," the CEO said, laughing heartily. "Beanie, listen," Bonnie said, trying to keep her patience. "What you saw on the screen was just acting. The chemistry was fake." "Nonsense! The chemistry was top-notch," the CEO said, still laughing. "I watched the show with my wife and kids, and they all agreed that it was great." "So what's your point, then?" Bonnie asked, her patience wearing thin. "Bonnie, I have to say, I think we should capitalize on this newfound chemistry between you and John," the CEO said, a twinkle in his eye. "We could do a spinoff series, maybe a romantic comedy. You two would be the leads." Bonnie scoffed. "Beanie, that's ridiculous. I'm not interested in doing a romantic comedy with John. I have better things to do with my career." "Oh, really?" the CEO said, a hint of skepticism in his voice. "Like what?" "I have a project lined up with Director Brown - called Man vs Wild," Bonnie said, trying to sound as confident as possible. "It's an adventure film that's going to be filmed in the wilderness. It's going to be epic." "That's news to me," the CEO said, raising an eyebrow. "I hadn't heard about that. When's it supposed to start filming?" "Next month," Bonnie said, hoping to change the subject. "And I'd really like to focus on that right now, if that's okay." "Of course, of course," the CEO said, though Bonnie could tell he wasn't happy about being left in the dark about her new project. "But you know, you and John do have great chemistry. I think it would be a shame to let that go to waste." Bonnie sighed. "I appreciate your enthusiasm, Beanie, but I'm just not interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with John. I have other things to focus on right now." "Alright, alright, I get it," the CEO said, raising his hands in surrender. "I just think you should keep an open mind, that's all." Bonnie gave him a tight smile. "I will. Now, I'll say bye now." "That 'Man vs Wild' has been in the works for a while, you just weren't aware of it," Jane said to remind the CEO, a hint of annoyance in her voice. "I thought that was just a rumor," the CEO said, shrugging. He looked at Tania. "Bonnie's assistant, don't you think you could be an actress yourself, with a face like that?" Tania started to speak, but Bonnie cut her off. "She's never expressed any interest in becoming an actress," Bonnie said. But as she spoke, she didn't notice that Tania's expression had fallen. But the CEO noticed it, and a sly smile crossed his face. "Well, I'll leave you to it, then," he said, as Bonnie was making her way to the door. "But you should keep an open mind, Bonnie. You never know what might happen." With that, Bonnie and her assistant and manager left the room, closing the door behind them. The day of the shoot for Man vs Wild finally arrived, and Bonnie was on set, reading through the script and getting ready for her scenes. The cast and crew were all assembled, but they were waiting for Nadia Gems, the second female lead, who was running late. She was a popular actress, but not as popular as Bonnie. Bonnie continued to read the script, finding herself more and more drawn in by the story. Man vs Wild was about some humans who had to survive in the wilderness, using only their wits and the resources around them. As she studied her lines and prepared for the day's scenes, she heard the news that Nadia had finally arrived. When Nadia entered the set, Bonnie was shocked by her appearance. She was chewing gum and dressed in a way that was completely unprofessional. But Bonnie bit her tongue and didn't say anything. "Sorry I'm late," Nadia said, clearly unconcerned with the fact that she had kept everyone waiting for two hours. "What the hell made you so late that you made the whole cast and crew wait for you?" the director demanded, his anger obvious. He was known for being a hot-tempered perfectionist, and Bonnie was grateful that he didn't take his frustration out on her. "My car broke down on the way here," Nadia explained, but her tone was flippant and unconcerned. "It's not like I was late on purpose." "That's no excuse," the director said, his voice rising. "You should have allowed plenty of time for your commute, and you should have called if you were going to be late. We have a schedule to stick to, and you're making everyone else's jobs more difficult. This is unacceptable." Nadia just rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath. She didn't seem to care about the inconvenience she had caused, and that only made the director angrier. "If this happens again, you'll be off the project," he warned, his voice low and threatening. "Do I make myself clear?" Nadia just shrugged, but the director didn't seem to notice. He turned to the rest of the cast and crew and announced, "We'll be starting late, but we'll make up the time. Let's get to work." "Scene 2, Act 24. Lights! Camera! Action!" the director called out, and the scene began. Bonnie, playing the role of Celpha, was in a forest with four other students, all of whom were dressed in grungy clothes and looked disheveled. They were clearly lost, and the scene opened with them arguing and blaming each other for their predicament. "Who are you?" Celpha demanded, turning on the others with an accusatory glare. She chewed gum aggressively, and her crazy pink wig only added to the unhinged impression she gave off. "Don't look at me like that!" one of the other students, Emilia, snapped back. She was dressed in an all-black outfit that looked like it had been through the wringer, and her makeup was smeared across her face. "It's not my fault we're lost. It's hers!" She pointed at another student, who just rolled her eyes. "Will you all just shut up?" the third student, Evan, said, his voice full of exasperation. "We're never going to get out of here if we keep fighting. We need to work together." The fourth student, Mark, was silent, but his face was drawn and pale. He looked like he was about to pass out from fear, and he kept glancing around nervously, as if he thought they were being watched. "I think we should keep moving," Mark finally said, his voice trembling. "We're not safe here." "What do you mean, we're not safe?" Emilia demanded, her voice rising in alarm. "What do you know that we don't?" Mark opened his mouth to answer, but before he could say anything, they heard a rustling in the trees behind them. Everyone froze, their eyes wide with fear. Then, a figure stepped out from the shadows. It was a man, dressed all in black, with a hood pulled up over his face. He was carrying a knife, and the blade glinted in the moonlight. "What are you doing here?" Evan asked, his voice shaking. The man just smiled, his eyes glinting with malice. "I think you know what I'm doing here," he said, his voice low and menacing. "Now, hand over all your valuables, and no one gets hurt." Celpha took a step forward, her eyes flashing with defiance. "I'm not afraid of you," she said, her voice strong and steady. "You're just a pathetic thief, using tricks to steal from people who are trying to make a living. You're nothing but a coward." She blew a bubble with her gum and popped it in the hooded man's direction, a smirk playing on her lips. The man looked at her with a mixture of anger and surprise, clearly not expecting her to stand up to him like that. "Celpha, don't antagonize him," Emilia said, her voice quivering slightly. "Let's just give him what he wants and get out of here." "Shut up, Emilia," Celpha snapped, not taking her eyes off the hooded man. "I'm the boss here, and I'm not going to let this punk get away with threatening us." The hooded man scowled, and for a moment, it looked like he might lunge at Celpha. But then he seemed to think better of it, and he took a step back. "Fine," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "You want to play tough, be my guest. But don't come crying to me when things go south." With that, he turned and disappeared into the shadows, leaving the four of them standing in stunned silence. No one knew quite what to say, but eventually, Celpha broke the silence. "Come on, let's get back to getting to the road," she said, her voice once again strong and confident. The others nodded, still a bit shaken by what had just happened except Emilia. "Celpha, You should not have antagonized the man like that," Emilia said, her voice shaking slightly. "We don't know who we might meet next time, and they might be even worse than him." "Emilia, don't tell me what to do," Celpha said, her eyes flashing. "You're not the boss here." Nadia, who was playing the role of Emilia, was clearly intimidated by Celpha's boldness. She stood there, frozen, and forgot her next line. "Cut!" the director yelled, and the scene came to a halt. "What's the matter with you, Nadia?" the director asked, clearly frustrated. "You can't just forget your lines like that. It throws the whole scene off. And don't let yourself get intimidated by Bonnie's delivery - she's just acting." Nadia looked sheepish. "Sorry, Brown," she said, rolling her eyes slightly. "I'll do better next time." "That's all I ask," the director said, his tone softening. "Now, let's take it from the top. Action!" This time, Nadia was able to deliver her line without hesitation.
