Maddie’s Point of View “Mom, when I grow up, I want to be a doctor that will save everyone.” That’s what I used to say to my mom when I was young. I witnessed people dying in front of me at such an early age. I see the grief. I wasn’t bothered by their deaths, but my heart was bothered with their sorrow seeing their loved ones, not opening their eyes again, no matter how much they wake them up.
