Riley “You did good, you know.” Startled I glanced over at the woman to my right. I didn’t know her, although I had seen her once or twice. She hadn’t once made an effort to talk to me or any of the other junio reporters here. So it was a shock to see her smiling down at me. “I’m sorry?” I was nervous but I didn’t actually know why. I wasn’t about to race. It wasn’t my career and reputation on the line.
