2. Wake Up

As the alarm Clock blared, I got out of the bed and hurried downstairs, once again I’m running behind because of my nightly dreams. They have gotten more intense lately. Mom I’m in a hurry, got to go going to be late for first period. Riza why are you getting up so late this is becoming a normal occurrence with you. is everything alright? No mom, I'm fine just had a hard time sleeping last night is all, you know graduation being next weekend and everything else it's just been a little crazy right now. I grabbed my bag and headed out the door. Turning the curb at the stop, I couldn’t help but feel like I was being watched. I Know I must be losing my mind it seems everything has got me paranoid these days. Shelia’s house was two doors down from mine. Shelia has been my best friend since kindergarten. She comes bustling out the door her deep red ringlets bouncing as she walks. Shelia has dark brown eyes and dark brown freckles, she is tall and very slender with the most beautiful smile…unlike her my hair is straight as a board and dark brown my eyes are blue and I have curves. Hey Riza, What’s up! Girl you know I’m pushing it this morning just trying to get there on time. Well Riza if you would quit all that dreaming and fall for a guy that’s into you maybe you would have a more motivation to get some where on time.. ha-ha, yea because Shelia has the best at relationship advice. Don’t get me wrong Shelia is my best friend, but she also happens to be one with the fellers around here. She is defiantly not the quite stay at home type, she is more your if it isn’t working out move it to the next type of girl! She is full of life and very headstrong she knows her worth and what she wants, and she goes for it. Me on the other hand I am a little bit more reserved and still waiting for that special one to knock me to my feet type. I just feel like if I wait long enough, he will show up one day and he will be all I ever wanted and needed type.
