Finally! I perceived her wolf even before she started to shift. I hoped she would shift today and the truth is I had my mind on it since I woke up this morning but the events of the day made time fly so fast and I didn’t know when it was evening.
When she started to feel the pain, I tried to calm her down. I knew she was about to shift but my mate did not have the slightest idea. The fact that the great witch was approaching made it hard for me to go close to her and comfort her. The chants of the disciples had me spellbound to one spot so I had to train my mind to not hear what they were saying and focus only on my mate.
