We didn’t encounter much troubles for the rest of the journey and by the time we got to Pa Theophilus’s place, we were all very exhausted, even grandpa who had been feeling fly all through the journey. It had been fun with him and I got to learn new things, I’ve only known my grandfather for a few hours and one thing I can say about him is he was a man with great pride, so, it must have taken a lot for him to have stayed in one spot all these years.
I couldn’t help but notice why he and my dad would not have agreed much, they were like two sides of a coin. My dad wanted to play it safe most times but grandfather loved adventures, consequences be damned, but they loved each other no doubt irrespective of whatever differences they had to settle.
