My father was never a man to run from battles. We had spent days preparing for what was to come and now he was suddenly nowhere to be found. That is just great. I couldn’t track him with my powers at all and it made me a little worried. I was trying to hide my worry from Heaven but she sensed it, mostly I was worried for Midnight pack.
I hope they would be able to hold off for as long as possible. We had just been home for a few hours before they showed up and what was weird was that I totally did not see that coming. One of my new gifts was being able to sense if there was danger close by. I knew that they were going to attack soon but I just didn’t think it would be that soon.
