Prakrit’s phone buzzed with the soothing Flute music at 5:15 AM. It is a weekend and Saturday’s morning in the mid-month of March. He turned off his alarm and sat up on his bed and closed his eyes for a good 15 minutes, observing his mind full of positive thoughts.

After the meditation, he went to the washroom to freshen up himself. He came after 30 minutes and went to his balcony to see the beautiful sunrise.

He used to be an early riser and likes to see the sunrise from his balcony. It gives some sort of patience to his mind. He knows it is a big day for him. He has to meet the most important person today. 

It isn’t for business dealings; it is for his lifetime dealings. He is indeed going to meet his life partner. He is feeling more positive today. He liked her when he met her for the first time.

Prakrt’s deal with UK Clients has succeeded and he decided to arrange the party for everyone. Aadhira’s company was organizing the party. He liked the way their team organized the party very enthusiastically. He didn’t take off his eyes when she was the host and organizing with funny.

Aadhira, he liked her name and he liked her eyes very much especially the mole on her right eye. She has strong confidence, and he felt, she has some kind of positive aurora and attracts everyone with her beautiful smile. He used to think, how does it possible for her having a mole in the eye? He never has seen anyone in his life having moles on their inner eyes. It just disturbing his sleep. The way she looks, it gives just a kick for him.

He is unknowingly having a smile on his face when he thinks about her. He likes her very much. He loves to see her beautiful eyes until his death. He has to get ready to meet her and going to discuss with her about our future life.

He didn’t know whether she accepts him or not but he is feeling good vibes of getting positive results. He went for quick jogging and getting ready himself for meeting her.

Aadhira!!!

Don’t be lazy, have a quick shower and get ready fast, don’t make him wait, her mother requested her outside her closed-door room.

Aadhira dropped the photo from her hand when her mom called her.

She wiped the lone tear from her corner of the eyes.

Aadhira, are you still sleeping?

This time, Sneha banged the door twice.

She clutched her nose in dismay. Yes, mom!! I am getting ready, don’t worry too much, I don’t want you to get another attack, just go down ma, will be ready soon, she replied to her politely.

Sneha huffed in dismay. Ok get ready soon, I am preparing your breakfast, Sneha said and left the room.

She took that photo and takes it close to her heart. How could you do this to me, Sam? If you’re alive, then we will have a child playing with us; God cheated us, I hate you, Sam, she said and kissed the smiling photo of him.

Aadhira lost her sleep when her dad and mom fixed alliance for her. She tried to deny them in the best way; they knew the reason behind her denials. As parents, they want their daughter to get the happiest life.

Aadhira’s dad Prem get an alliance from Prakrit. Prem is getting so many alliances for Aadhira but she was keen to deny their proposals for the last two years. Due to Sneha’s health condition and constant push from her parents, she agreed to marry.

Prem didn’t want to leave this alliance for any chance, he knew Prakrit, is one of the young businessmen, his career just inspired him more. He said yes not only because of his money, but he also loves his daughter; he wants his daughter to be protected and loved by someone after him.

Aadhira didn’t sleep last night, it is not a new habit to her for not sleeping at nights, and she used to think about Sam. She used to fill her pillows with her cries. It has happened three years back but it’s still fresh to her heart. Whenever she closes her eyes, she used to see his dead body in front of her.

Her cries are dissolved with the shower water. Once she finished the shower, she wore the bath rub which covered till her mid-thigh and went to get ready.

She clutched her nose in dismay when she saw the saree on her dressing table.

Not the typical drama, she isn’t going to wear the saree, she has chosen her formal salwar, applied kajal on her eyes and wore the shawl over her neck and lastly wear that fake smile on her face.

Sneha huffed in dismay when her daughter smiled at her cheekily.

Didn’t you see the saree on the dressing table Aadhira?

I felt more comfortable with this salwar mom; can you please give me two idlis to my plate?

Sneha sighed dejectedly.

Do you want me to see dead before your marriage?

Mom!!! Aadhira shouted at her.

I agreed to your wishes right, what is your problem mom? I will wear the dress which makes me feel comfortable, I don’t want to wear a dress to impress anyone she said and looked at her mother angrily.

She agreed to her father and had her food silently.

Aadhira listen, Prakrit seems a nice guy to me and he loves you, don’t miss a guy who loves you, this meeting or dating will move your life to next step, so please be calm, you need someone when you are in the worst phase, have him as your friend and try to get close with him, Sneha advised her for the last time before she leaving the house.

Aadhira nodded at her positively, she followed her father to the car.

Aadhira was just tired of everything. She wants to run somewhere to hide from this scenario or drama. I can live alone, I don’t need anyone’s help to live my life, I don’t know, how could I make my mom believe that marriage won’t change any girl’s life. It is just a burden for her.

I know Aadhira!! It is difficult for you. But you have to face every situation; you know that’s the Life!!! Life is kind of experience and you have to learn from it, Prem’s voice disturbed Aadhira’s thought.

I don’t want to force you but I don’t have an option either. As far as I know you, you are an intelligent girl, so please be a good girl and take the right decision. He loves you, marrying the person who loves you, is the luckiest person on the earth. So think wisely!!!

She smiled at him, if Sam is alive dad, then I will be the luckiest person on the earth, he loves me more than you were, dad!! But god cheated me!! He isn’t at the right age to die, dad, she replied to him quietly.

Aadhira, I don’t want to force upon you anything. Please think about your mother, you are thinking about your lost love but I don’t want the two women of my life has to suffer even though if I am not alive. Please understand your dad’s situation, she patted her shoulder.

Don’t worry, dad!! Hope for the best, she replied and their car reached the famous Coffee shop restaurant in the OMR.

Let me call, Prem, he said and dialled his number.          

He is stuck with the Sholinganallur traffic, he will be reaching here within 15 minutes, Prem said to her.

Does he make us wait, dad? How irresponsible, she huffed in dismay.

He has started his own Marketing Company at this very small age and he is an inspiration to youngsters; admire his talent and respect him as a person. I hope you love your mother, I don’t want to force you Aadhira, I need a valid reason before rejecting him, please understood our situation, she hates herself when her father was worried about her.

I am sorry dad, she mumbled at him.

That’s ok, sweetheart, Prem replied.

Prakrit reached the venue within 10 minutes.

Hello uncle, Hi Aadhira, Prakrit greeted them, I am, sorry uncle, are you guys waiting for a long time?

Just 5 minutes only, he replied.

Okay, why are you guys waiting here? You can go inside and have your seats right, Prakrit asked him.

Yes definitely, uncle. He answered him confidently. Prem smiled at his daughter before leaving them alone, he hand shook Prakrit and left the house.

Aadhira didn’t look at him, she isn’t having interests in him. Without waiting for him, she went inside the coffee shop while he was shocked by her behaviour.

He didn’t look at her fully when Prem was with them; Aadhira went inside when Prakrit was giving adieu to him.

He likes her figure when she was walking inside, she has great confidence, and he admired her walk.

He patted her head and followed her.

Their table had already booked, so Aadhira went inside and had here seats.

He didn’t propose a girl with love, he never felt this feeling before, and this was a big deal for him, his lifetime deal.

He sat in front of her. Hi Aadhira, he removed his folded hands to shake with her.

She didn’t unfold her hands to give him a proper handshake; instead, she smiled at him sarcastically.

I am sorry, for making both of you wait for a long time, he said and looked at her.

Did I ask your apology? Why are you apologizing now? She was about to shout at him but his phone buzzed making to interrupt their conversation.

One minute, he attended his phone.

Yeah, mom, I reached here, just now. Yes, she is with me, will call you mom and hopefully give you the good news, he talked to his mother caringly. Have your BP tablets mom, will reach by noon, bye mom, he ended his phone call.

Prakrit is looking at her keenly.

Excuse me, she excused and went to the washroom.

What are you doing, Aadhira?

What is your problem with him? Why are you shouting at him without any reason? Tell the truth, to accept you or not is up to his decision. You aren’t supposed to raise your voice against a stranger for no good reasons, he is having family, you have to blame yourself for your life, be calm, don’t behave like a stupid, she talked to her in the mirror, she took a deep breath and left the washroom.

One filter coffee, and for you Aadhira, he asked her.

Black coffee, she replied him quietly.

Thank you, he said and the waiter left.

I don’t want to flirt with you but I have to confess something for a very long time, your eyes are looking especially the mole on your right eye, I like to see your eyes till my death, he said by looking at her.

Sam also likes her eyes; he used to do mumble the same thing whatever Prakrit said.

She felt a huge pain on her chest when she was comparing him with the Sam. You can’t move on Aadhira, you can’t, you loved him till your lifeline, don’t waste this guy’s life, her inner mind taunted her.

Are you okay? You seem disturbed, after my confessions, he asked her.

There was silence between them. Prakrit can see the uneasiness in her face.

The waiter placed the order on their table and he left.

Do you know something, someone has also liked my eyes, he even said, he has to die by looking at my eyes but he died without saying goodbye and without looking at my eyes, he left me alone in this cruel world, she choked while speaking to him.

Prakrit felt bad for her, he didn’t know how to console her.

Aadhira, it’s ok. Don’t get emotional. I know it is difficult to live without your loved one, please don’t cry!! He clutched her hands and patted her palm to just make her feel calm.

I am fine, thanks!! She wiped her tears using the tissue.

Aadhira, relax!! Don’t make a decision in haste. Just think about your life and think about whether I would suits for you, take your own time and tell your decision, he tried to calm her down.

I am thinking about it for the last three years, Prakrit. My answer is same, I don’t want to marry anyone, Sam is enough for me, and I can live with his memories. Please try to understand, you never fill his space in my life, she told him after sipping the Black coffee.

That was great to know, Aadhira!! He replied coolly.

I am not stupid, to leave my loved persons, I know you are in a difficult phase but trust me, I will be with you always, no matter whatever the situation, I want to marry you and we will travel this life journey together, I am not going to change my decision. I don’t want to see you in suffer anymore, I hope, let me fill my heart with new memories, he said and kissed her palms lovingly.
