Almost two months had passed since their Friday evening meet at New Africa Hotel with Jonathan and Marcus and throughout the month, Beatrice had kept bringing up Marcus in almost every other conversation with Emilie, expressing her utter disgust at his behaviour, calling him anything from immature to chauvinistic, to downright stupid. Emilie had provided a sympathetic ear so that her friend could vent. It was a bit ironic because brash and confident men were kind of Beatrice’s preference.
